dirtcan Added a reply to Is stark varg dying off

I definitely see more stark than triumph in my area. I rode one for the first time two weeks ago and was blown away by how good it felt on the track. I didn't get arm pump like I almost always do because my technique and posture were much better than on a gas bike because I had a lot...

I'm going to be a flagger at this year's Southwick National. I keep telling myself "don't watch the race, monitor your section". With all the talent in the field It'll be a tough task. Throw Herlings in the mix and I'll be at systems overload. JK. Honestly my goal is to not have Anderson yell at me.... or anyone else for that matter. Looking forward to it. 48 years watching and racing at The Wick (first raced there in 1978, attended my first race there in 77) I'm taking this very seriously, as I should.

Note: Wright wearing an elbow brace to keep it wrapped as tight as possible. He crashed on Wednesday and thought he broke his elbow. Did some therapy to help get it good enough to line up.

Yes hope he can figure it out like his brother because he certainly has the speed. A lot of his crashes are due to some kind of front end tuck. It seems like he doesn’t lean back far enough when braking which loads the front end and leads to some sort of tank slaping which simply rips the bar out...

450 Moto 2 Results Holeshot went to Pettis followed by Nicoletti, Stice and Meston and Wright. Wright passed Meston, and Meston ran it into him in the following corner pushing him off track on the first lap. 2 laps in and Wright was 6 seconds back of Pettis in the lead. He made the pass on Nicoletti on lap 3. Nicoletti made a mistake and went down on lap 3 and lost spots to Stice, Amyotte and Ward. Wright put in a 2:09 to Pettis' 2:12 on lap 4 and cut the lead down to 2 seconds. Wright caught Pettis...

450 Moto 1 Results Nicoletti got the holeshot. Was quickly passed by Pettis. A few moments later Wright made an outside pass on Phil and started chasing Pettis. Wright got close then lappers got in the way and he lost some time. With 8 minutes to go they battled for the lead. Wright made the pass and went off track and let him retake the lead. Wright had to reset and start chasing Pettis again. Both guys were pushing and made mistakes. With 2 laps to go they battled for the lead again. Just before the last lap Wright made...

I think it was in the race recap where he said ''wow just like Bradshaw at washougal'' when Jett railed the outside after Tomac pointed his fender on the inside. I thought it was a nice comment that showed just how much he has watched the races and remembers key moments.

Here is one... The starting gate should be in A shape, with first gate pick at the top, second and third on each side maybe half a foot behind, 4th and 5th half a foot behind second and third and so forth and so on. It would add a ton of excitement to the timed practice qualifying session (like Ricky...

I had to ride in the mud today. Absolutely crazy how fast theses guys can go in such horrible conditions. Also, Sacha Coenen was pretty exciting to watch in that first moto. He did the longest two wheel slide I have ever seen on a dirt bike coming down a hill just before settling in a rut.

Hate it or love him, he's lived an amazing and inspirationnal life. After listening to his whiskey throttle show a couple years ago, I just kept thinking how someone needs to write his biography. It would be one of the most interesting motocross book for sure.

Why was chase jumping the whoops? He was just as fast as Webb when blitzing early in the race and looked a lot more in control. As soon as he started jumping, he lost time and made mistakes. Also, I think he should have taken the tighter line in that long left turn after the split section. He would loose...

A 450 is too much bike for me and the numbers on the ducati are even crazier than all the other 450 (if what they say is true), apparently because of their valve system. This whole time I’ve just been thinking that it would be awesome if they could come out with a 250 that also shows numbers a step...

I don't think it's an absolute necessity to go to closed stadium if you go in some part of the country where it is at least suppose to be mildly warm. I don't think a mud race is particularly fun and exciting to watch, but like others have said they have been part of the sport forever. But going to...
