Why was chase jumping the whoops? He was just as fast as Webb when blitzing early in the race and looked a lot more in control. As soon as he started jumping, he lost time and made mistakes. Also, I think he should have taken the tighter line in that long left turn after the split section. He would loose time by going wide and not really make it back with momentum in the next rhytm section. That's my couch racer analysis.

I think the bigger issue was he couldn't decide whether he was jumping or blitzing. If he had just decided to jump after a certain point and committed to that he would have been better off.

Cool story bro. What was Webb trying to accomplish with the brake check on the first lap when everyone is piled up. We’ve seen this before from him. You don’t see that crap from Eli. I still think back to him getting mad at bowers for giving it back to him.

That was the lightest “brake check” of all time. If you can even call it that. It didnt even look like sexton even hit his rear wheel. That was the definition of a nothingburger. This is just finding something to get mad about.

Webb does it very subtly, that’s why he’s the master of brake checks, But Sexton should expect it and had another 20 minutes to respond and couldn’t.
