The ‘09 is a great bike. I got a little carried away with this one, I ended up putting too much money into it. The motor was a little soft on the stock bike, but Tokyo Mods did a great job with their mods.

I moved here a decade ago for work and it's way better now than it's ever been. Our mayor is badass and walked back some of the super progressive shit that took down the other west coast cities. We have a couple areas that suck but lots of areas that don't and I just avoid the areas that do. It's expensive which isn't ideal, but if you work in tech like me you make enough so it's just like living anywhere else when you break down percentage of what you make versus spend. The weather is elite though. There are...

I live in the middle of San Francisco and can still get to 2 tracks in under an hour, another in about 70 minutes, Hangtown in an hour and forty, and like 4 other tracks around two hours. I've got no complaints for having to live/work in a major city and still being able to easily ride year round. Sometimes traffic sucks getting back home, but at most it adds 20-30 minutes extra and I'm already riding the post-moto high anyhow so I never care.

Chase needs to lock in and suck it up. He’s going to waste his career with this musical chair bs

Chase is so sensitive to bike changes, everytime he's changed manufacturer so far he's had a throw away year. If he changes again, I hope he goes back to a bike he rode before so he doesn't have to do the process all over again and waste another year. If he gets on a brand new bike, I think it...

Malin is such a good commentator. The number of hours he spends in the booth every race week-end is impressive. So happy for Herling. Him being so stocked about getting three holeshot at a local race in France that no other pro went to during the off week kind of explain why he is in a class of his own.

Guillem Farres Jumping the finish with the front end down every lap was pretty to see. I really didn't have him being so cool, calm and collected at the beginning of the year. It's a bummer he couldn't shake the injury bug during his time in the US. Also that double on-double off looks fun to do.

It was nice seeing Rempel do good in the futures at ironman. It would have been great if Wright made the drive too.

Good for him and what an amazing career. Just wished he had announced it before Ironman. I feel there should have been something special for his last national, like a parade lap or something. And I’m sure everybody would have cheered him extra hard all around the track. Did we ever learn if he got injured or something mi-season during...

Never took one of his class, but his early videos called private lessons were very helpful to me beause he started posting them at the same time I started riding. Help me a ton to start with the right basic fundamentals, which are still far from perfect in my case. On most practice days, I still take 10-15 minutes on...

I had one of the most simple and economical LL I've ever had this year. And ironically it's the only time I've ever actually gotten in the program and raced! Showed up on Sunday evening and pulled into a little spot off the road up on stagecoach hill and setup a canopy. Had a bunch of Best Western hotel points saved up, so staying the week in a hotel cost us $260 total. Tossed the bike in the Metris van and drove from Ohio getting 25mpg. Since the weather was great, never even washed the bike the whole week, just...

From what I’ve heard he broke a wheel and blew up his shock in moto 1 and apparently didn’t have the spare parts to fix it. He holeshot and lead for about the first 10 minutes so it was shaping up to be a good day, but I do agree that his career arc is weird so far. Moto 2...

I partially agree with op. Starts are probably the most exciting part of motocross and the most dangerous as well, even at the local level. Knowing this, I don't know why they start on grates with a holeshot device so low the bike looks like a dragster. For sure we would still see first turn pile-up without these two things...
