For me the most frustrating thing is the lack of anyone being able to say No to Donald and have him listen them. He unequivocally thinks he knows everything. Good governance comes with checks and balances. Right now Trump is running unchecked and the damage it’s doing to our democracy will be felt for decades to come.

Most of us don’t “hate” Trump or disagree with most overarching policies. It’s a lack of clearly defined goals and mismanaged implementations that create concerns. Immigration reform and corralling Iran’s nuclear program are worthy endeavors tackled in ramshackle fashion. ICE became more of a problem for Trump than a solution, and Iran proved to be problematic. It’s these ham-fisted approaches that leave us lifelong conservatives shaking our heads.

Has everyone forgotten about the Epstein files yet? I'm pretty sure that's why we went into this none-war war.

Not even close on why people had a problem with ICE. and the way they were enforcing immigration. But You knew that. Have You ever thought that perhaps the reasons that Democrat leaders gave are the real reasons they were so upset with Immigration enforcement ? Have You ever asked Yourself , Why would people have such a blind hate for somebody they don't know? That makes no sense, its crazy talk and that's how they get You to believe it. They convince you the other side is irrational. And twist the way everything's reported to frame the other side...

But posts which talk smack about maga and then immediately talk about coming together as Americans will get a down vote nine times out of ten. Its not so different from objecting to something from a mid-level friend, there's a tact required. A proper homie you can call an asshole or dipshit or whatever, butt less than that and thing change quite a bit.

It is annoying , but often predictable that is so often the reply. I still have hope. Every so often I'll see a glimmer of hope here and there. Other than my older sister, I never talk politics outside of this site. I had hoped the bond of Moto could help bridge the divide of politics a little bit better than it has. I’ve always said, if you want to argue, get into politics. The thing I’ve noticed is a lot of guys getting the thumbs down on both sides are actually decent AF in other parts of the forum and, that’s were decency is usually reciprocated. In non political threads.

Notice when you point out facts and logic all the Trumpets just thumbs down. If they can’t call you a libtard they have nothing. I just don’t understand the hive mind mentality. I use to have hope we could come together as Americans. That hope is now lost, sadly.

That is one of the things that has fascinated me about the hard core supporters. They think You are either a Trump supporter 100%, or a Democrat. I think with Trump, that's how he sees people, You either support him totally or he wants nothing to do with you. It's very interesting to me. I think that is a big part of why his supporters are so loyal. If they truly believe there is no middle ground. They can't be against anything or they become the evil they are fighting against .

It’s interesting how many people who spent years arguing that constitutional rights matter are suddenly comfortable skipping due process because they dislike the accused. If the evidence is as overwhelming as claimed, then proving it in court should be easy. That’s how a nation of laws works. If Fauci knowingly broke the law, investigate him, charge him, give him a fair trial, and if convicted sentence him accordingly. That’s exactly how our justice system is supposed to work.
