5/31/2023 4:29am My issue was a little different. I haven’t done anything to my start/stop button. I was getting an air pressure sensor fault on the throttle body. I replaced it and put dielectric grease in every connector, finding water and corrosion in the main ecu plug after only a few hours. No issues since for me. Common factor is water though.

5/31/2023 3:36am The orange light flashes a fault code usually. I’d count the flashes and refer to the manual. Water got into my ecu connector and made my bike fault early on.

Hey Vital. Thanks for the comments, good or bad. I get it. I don't go on here much but I do get second hand info from here, so it's popular! From what happened on Saturday, I deserve all the "I told you so" comments. "Keefer sucks, he's old, maybe he's not as good as he thinks he is" type comments are all warranted. 5/24/2023 1:21pm That must be why because mine almost feels soft off bottom then it catches. The setup sheet says measure your plate stack then set according to the thickness, mine ended up on 3.

For all my fellow europeans: Pro Carbon finally has an affordable carbon skid plate available for the bike. It wasn't quite my taste in stock trim so I cut some parts of to make it look more like the Lightspeed skid plate. The fitment was a little off for mine, the hole on the bottom didn't quite line up and there's a little gap between the skid plate and the bottom rails on the left side. It's very sturdy and good looking though.

Just picked mine up! The Suzuki 250 AF is down for some more motor work at the moment and I don't want to hammer it all the time. Pretty excited to start this build!

Oh HAPPY DAY!!! I’ve been dreaming of a day when the new YZ450 would make it’s way into my life! Walked into Sehorn Yamaha in Shawnee Okla to order a part for my YZ250 2-stroke and jokingly asked Mack the salesman if my new YZ was in yet?! I posted this in the YZ450 thread too BUT I am too excited to be 42 pages deep in a thread thats months old! I don’t get to get a new bike but maybe every 3 years or so and I have been dreaming of the day the new YZ would make its way into my stable, and dang if things didn’t fall my way for a change! 5/8/2023 12:37am No, it just comes with a new center plate for the bolts that has 3 settings. You measure the rekluse plates and fibers as a stack and set to the thickness that rekluse says. So I guess it does set the pressure more or less depending on the thickness.

5/7/2023 1:52pm I’m at 10 hours and put my rekluse plates in today. Stock plates looked a little burnt. Didn’t really notice when riding.
