9/3/2023 7:37pm No worries, I will probably just stop over to Titan Motorsports and pay the $150 hrly rate and just have both brackets done at once. I appreciate the response as I was just about to pull the trigger on a Honda bracket.

9/3/2023 11:58am We were building an aluminum weld lathe for work so I used that welder. It’s at the customer now so I don’t have it anymore.

9/3/2023 4:35am He told me that too but it didn’t fit mine. I ended up buying a billet 270 Yamaha hanger and re welding the bottom hole before re tapping a new hole.

8/30/2023 4:42pm A Honda 280 hanger will clear the Yamaha 270 rotor. I found that out when I was finding a bracket to work with the billet nissin. If it’s full pad engagement, I didn’t get that far.

8/28/2023 1:28pm Finally rode with the longer swingarm, definitely an improvement. I wouldn’t even say it hurt the turning. 50 tooth on the rear also helped 3rd gear. Best I’ve felt on this bike so far, just need to ride now.

8/14/2023 11:33am I’m assuming you mean the mid pipe mounting point? I’ve had pc repair that before. It’s not a big deal.

8/9/2023 3:43pm I’m going to run 13/50 as well. Sometimes I have to clutch it using 3rd in turns. Just my style of riding, I could use a touch more bottom. Even if you use the old swingarm and don’t like it back, you can just shorten the chain and move it forward again. Just gives you more options.

8/9/2023 3:38pm I just canceled the new one since it says next month now. Going to clean this used one up since I’ve had no luck selling it. I rode with the Fcp engine mounts Saturday and it fixed the harshness in my hands.

8/7/2023 7:19am I honestly believe that this is the best content that I’ve put out into the world, but not because of me at all. Jeffrey was on top form. So honest and articulate. I’d say that no active rider has been so transparent. I really hope you all enjoy it. Eager for your feedback!

8/3/2023 4:15pm The only difference with with 14-17 swingarm is the longer adjustment area like JM485 said.

7/29/2023 5:38pm The swingarm breakdown for the Yamaha 450s is as follows: 2010-2013 2014-2017 2018-2022 2023+ Length wise I'm not sure exactly how the 23 compares to the 18-22 swingarm, but I know that the dropouts for the rear axle are the same so I would guess that they are likely similar, and the dropouts are also the same on the 10-13 version. The 14-17 swingarm has a larger dropout area for more axle adjustment. The only reason I know this off the top of my head is I have designed swingarm extensions for hillclimb to fit all of the different swingarms...

7/29/2023 5:05am I bought a used 17 swingarm and it has scratches and some minor cosmetic blemishes if anyone is interested. Needs sliders and bearings too. I have my bikes perfect so I ended up buying a brand new one for a big price.

7/27/2023 8:05pm Mine is between 12-14mm further back with 13/50 and 17 swing arm. Noticeably more balanced and stable in the chop, less pitching from what I can tell and still turns great.

7/27/2023 5:18am 13mm or so. But as you know on the 23 you can’t have the wheel all the way back with the current 13-50 ratio. So when I get it on I’ll measure the swingarm pivot to axle length on both and see where it ends up. I’m assuming I’ll have an extra link or two on the chain.
