I agree with you. The renaming of these installations is political: with liberals leading and a few spineless Republicans, they are irradiating racists. Ok, but we don’t live in the 1930s we are not those people, and we are not racists. This action though, gives them the victory over racists (that don’t exist). What they are ignoring is Lincoln forgave these men, restored them, and brought them back into the Union.
