I stand corrected. I was getting my equivalencies confused. (It's been a long time since my last chemistry class!) 

I remember that 1,000ml is the same as 1,000cc, metric measurement all adds up neatly, and that water is one of the "standard bearers" for measurement, so I must have conflated two different things. 1g = 1ml and all. 
Now that I'm looking it up, I see I was incorrect about my recollection of molar volume of a gas at STP, also. Man, I need to get back to the books!

You couldnt build Concorde today because the computer says it wouldnt work.

Pretty sure you got that flipped around Chance. I dont know many plumbers that can weld/cut/fit steel. At least in my area. Steamfitters and plumbers are split locals here.
