Anyone have some interesting stats to share?

Here is one:

In the year 1900, there were around 1.5 billion people on the planet. Today, there are roughly 8 billion people.

There are more people alive today, than there ever has even existed previously.

Over that 100 year period, (1900-2000) the planet added roughly 5 billion people.

ON April 23, 1999, St. Louis Cardinals player Fernando Tatis Sr. did something that has never been done in baseball history: hit two grand slams in the same inning. The feat was accomplished against the Los Angeles Dodgers and both grand slams came off of Chan Ho Park.

Only 3% of the United States rides motorcycles. If you consider there are roughly 500k new motorcycle registrations each year, half of which belong to Harley-Davidson, then it shows exactly how small moto is. We should be thankful we are part of the small percent who get to enjoy all aspects of this great sport and industry!
