Thanks for the update. St. Louis has phenomenal hospitals. Mainly Barnes Jewish Hospital. It is renowned as one of the best in the country. Glad Peters will be alright. Having been down that road it is a miserable feeling.
I get these guys train hard and put a lot into it, but I have a hard time feeling sorry for someone who flys to races, sits in their big motor home while their free bike is prepped, gets paid more money than I’ll ever see to ride dirt bikes in front of thousands of fans. Championship feeling wasn’t everything you thought it was going to be? I’m sure that money spends just the same. Come work with the real world where there are no wins. Yes I know I’m an A-hole and have accepted this way of life, raw...
Really? I've been around Shane and his family going way back to his 65 days and I don't know that I've heard him make excuses about much of anything. He and his dad are legitimately the nicest and most humble two men you could ever hope to meet.
I had the pleasure of meeting him in person at the Nashville Supercross, when he had was starting across the hall from us at the Hilton. And a lot of people speak poorly of him, but he was really very nice to us. Despite that, even if he was an ass, I'd hate to see anyone get hurt or their season end that way. Very talented kid who can't catch a break (no pun intended). Austin and my late son Max. "Hey Dad, Forkner's in the hall". Lol.
After that hit and seeing him struggle to move afterwards he obviously had a injury to his brain . I felt like I was watching a UFC fighter after getting tkoed. Seeing his post I think he is gonna race but I feel like someone shouldn’t allow him weather that’s the team or the series idk…
Moved to NC and bought a house on Lake Norman (water front) in a high end neighborhood. Bought an amusement park (Moto 40) and lets the public ride there (for a fee of course). Now, what was your point?
Yeah he's blazing fast, but a bit entitled. I saw him at the Baja Brawl and he was complaining about being dropped 2nd after the 25+ class because he had to deal with passing so many slower 25+ riders. Here's a solution Gage....stop sand-bagging and race the appropriate class. His lap times were better than the A riders.
Not sure about the hard stance a lot of you have that you only employ a racer who can win, or purely go off race results. That said, have AJ race Buttery for the spot on the team, see how close it is. Good thing you guys aren't making the decisions because that's not how it works for every team and every signing.
