I can't find anything on Peters. Looked like they were worried about his neck the way it was being stabilized. Any updates I missed?

He gave his dad a few thumbs up, I assume he was asking him if he can feel his legs. Hopefully.

He was sitting up right after the crash so that’s a great sign.

In a local hospital. Waiting to hear when surgery will be, he broke C5 and C6 vertebrae. Apparently he did a bang up job on them, but can feel/move everything.

Could see him move his legs after the crash and as posted above, he has feeling/movement. Terrible that he broke vertebrae in his neck, but very relieved he has feeling and mobility.

The way he was holding his helmet was wondering if that was the case. Glad he's still mobile.

Thanks for the update. St. Louis has phenomenal hospitals. Mainly Barnes Jewish Hospital. It is renowned as one of the best in the country. Glad Peters will be alright. Having been down that road it is a miserable feeling.

He posted on Instagram that surgery is done and went well. Now onto recovery.

it seemed kyle knew something was wrong. He sat up, kept his helmet in the same place and refused to move.

Crap man, that is scary. As someone with metal in seven of my thoracic vertebrae..I know how dangerous cervical fractures can be. So glad is sounds like his spinal cord was spared. Hope the absolute best for him. That's so scary.

Yeah, as soon as I saw him sitting there holding his helmet I thought "neck injury". I've broken C6/C7 (luckily no paralysis), so sooooo happy that Kyle appears to have fully movement, etc. He's such a good rider, but SX can be a meat grinder sometimes...

Yeah, when you see people holding totally still like that, it's a pretty good indication that they could have a cervical fracture.

Any new word on Kyle? Hopefully doing better? Sounds like he lucked out, hopefully it stays that way... dude has been flying the last couple years...
