As far as I know the rule applies to in-school mediation not legal proceedings. Schools deal with policy issues all the time in a different manner than they would be handled in court. Do people get criminal prosecutions for cheating on a test? Don't change the subject.

False accusations occur MUCH less often than real ones and real assaults go unreported because victims are embarrassed, scared or just too paralyzed by the event(s) to come forward. People do get falsely accused and have had their lives ruined. That sucks, but is not the norm. Those are special cases that you hear about because they are special. Those who are accused will still have a chance to state their case.

It’s not a “ scam” to “keep him from campaigning”. He shouldn’t get special treatment because he’s running for office. Grand Juries have determined there’s enough evidence to move forward with the trials. Now he has to be in a courtroom instead of campaigning. That’s on him. The gag order is because he repeatedly attacks the judge, prosecution, jurors, and their families. He is not capable of keeping his mouth shut about those things.
