Doing regular maintenance then proceeded to get into a heated exchange with the ol lady. Didnt put oil back into the back. Guess how long your bike will run at the track with no oil in it? About two turns...yeah. Uh huh. Cam, valves, head, crank, etc...about a $2500 arguement. Doh!

You felt the two best things about a YZ250F and why they’ve been the most popular 250F in recent years. The tried and true KYB SSS and the reverse intake tract that allows them to produce so much bottom end out of those motors. FWIW I’ve always found SFF fork setups to be more harsh than their counterparts, regardless of setup.

I won’t bash the US broadcast in this thread because I’ve done it plenty. Paul and JT are very good and I really enjoy the broadcast. One glaringly obvious difference is that as a listener, amateur rider, and fan I really appreciate it when I’m not treated as a complete dolt. It’s a pleasant change.

I just finished watching the MXoN Qualifying Races and holy cow what a difference between this broadcast and the pathetic sh@tshow the US SMX broadcasts have become. Some notes: The MXoN broadcast seems to use the necessary 7 or 8 cameras on the ground that actually follow the race fully around the track. Beautiful FULL SCREEN coverage of the riders, properly framed, railing turns, hitting jumps, working the ruts, showing body positioning, suspension action, etc., and most importantly, showing the RACING!! They (thankfully) have very minimal use of their split-screen, and almost zero useless Inserts of a guy in the...

At Pala specifically there should be a full sized prepped track for minis. I rarely go on the main as I often feel I’m in the way and consider myself a decent rider, not sure how a responsible parent can send their 50 or 65 kid out there with fast bikes running around. It doesn’t take an Anderson or Mcadoo type as there are droves of no name guys/gals that absolutely haul the mail there and just whizz by these kids. Stay safe people and think twice parents…

That’s sad to hear. I hope the little guy has a full recovery and is back at it ASAP. With that said, I would love to see split practices. We ride Pala frequently , 3 times last week. I’ve got 4 young kids that are not fast but love to ride. They like riding the VET tracks. I only allow them to ride the VET tracks at the end of the day when the crowds clear out. Then I ride behind them to “run block” so to speak. For us that’s the safest way for them to enjoy the big...
