3/27/2022 6:59pm I missed the part of the interview where he was asking you to feel sorry for him, what time is that so I can go re listen? Good on him, he spoke his mind, can’t hate on him for that. Refreshing to hear his actual opinion and not a political correct or corporate response

3/19/2022 7:32pm I feel like the difference between 51 and 21 is that 21 makes these moves to move up a position, 51 does it as a last ditch effort to hold on to the spot he just got straight up passed for.

Chase_Dehart Added a reply to Too many bar bend options!!
3/16/2022 1:25pm I’m 6’ and use the pro taper sx race bend (87mm height) on a Ktm 350, for me anything close to that bend feels the best for those bikes. I didn’t mind the stock dimensions, but liked the little bit of height better. Also I rotated the bar clamps so they more in the middle of the top clamp, that...

3/14/2022 5:32am I dont even know how this thread was even needed to be started. It was obvious what happened. Lost the front. Slow hard hit to the head. Dazed and disoriented. Rode over 3 jumps and fell over. Anderson was concussed

3/10/2022 7:45pm You cannot change the net effect of the forces at play, and thus are not raising the bike at all. Not, at least, as an entire package of mass. The bike will land in the spot that the rider, Sir Issac Newton, and God agreed upon as soon as the bike left the ground. However, rotating the entire chassis by brake tapping would technically raise the rear wheel and lower the front as the entire package rotates around its center of gravity. This would do two things: make the front wheel touch the ground a little bit earlier, and allow...

3/4/2022 5:21pm I have been running 14/52 almost exclusively. 50 makes 3rd too tall in a lot of places. 51 is an improvement but 52 is much better, IMO. An alternate might be to try 48 or 49 and moving everything down a gear: more second and third, less use of third and fourth.

3/4/2022 4:54am Sorry to hi-jack but did you prefer the 14/51 over the 14/52? I currently have 14/51 and been debating adding a tooth, i don’t mind it as is I’ve just heard a lot of recommendations to add a tooth. Also looking to re-flash my ecu soon, loving the 350’s though, such a good bike.

2/27/2022 6:11pm I'll agree with you 100%. I started at the same time MC did and we met up at Loretta Lynn's in the C class. He was clearly faster than me, but not by a whole lot. Still, he was better than anyone I had ever raced against. He was only getting started, though. The next year, I got lapped by Damon Bradshaw at the regional qualifier and he went around me like I wasn't even in his way. Trust me, he was a lot faster than MC was 8 months prior. Somehow MC made the leap to being the fastest...

2/27/2022 5:31am I think Jason is just in such a panic/rush to get to the front. He knows he’s faster, just trying to get past ASAP. And most of the time it pays off. His passes on Tomac, race 2? Incredible, the awareness, bike control, and race craft are on another level. But the impatient slams in corners are kinda head scratching. Still, love to see it! Damn he’s exciting to watch.

2/25/2022 9:26pm If the wheel did have some damage prior to the crash it could be why there was a crash. A wheel that goes soft will flex and dig in and create more grip than an undamaged wheel. It is possible the wheel was damaged and caused the crash which finished off the wheel.

2/25/2022 9:24pm I've never seen anything like that before.... ever... and.. if I went out to try and duplicate it, I don't think I could... I've had numerous crazy incidents over the past 40+ yrs that would have been even harder on a front wheel, yet I've never taco'ed a front like that.... What I'm saying here...and perhaps what OP is saying that - ya... either the wheel was compromised before that corner.... or something broke when it should not have...

2/20/2022 7:15am It is hard to say. The way the front pushed exiting that corner sure looked reminiscent of what a flat front tire tends to feel like. The damage to the rim from that sudden grab into the face of the jump is questionable when compared to the many different high impact hits we see front wheels take when bikes go flipping through the air in crash situations, often resulting in wheels that don’t bend just flex of course. However, if that tire was flat then the rim would obviously have no cushion against the force. Either way, for a guy...

2/20/2022 7:10am My guess would be he broke a spoke or two off that quad, then the knife finished it off. I hope he’s ok, but that wreck looked gnarly.
