Actually, in my opinion, they are not being petty, they are doing the So Cal moto fans a solid. You couldn’t pay me to go to Pala to watch a national.

the electronic gadgets have taken over at a young age I bet most of us when we were kids started on BMX bikes. BMX bikes led to nagging our parents until they couldn’t take it anymore finally caving in and letting us get a real dirt bike! kids don’t rush home from school anymore to ride their BMX bikes around the neighborhood. They rush home to the iDevices, Playstations, Nintendos, and Xboxes. A lot of times the young kids just aren’t as excited about dirt bikes as we were

I wouldn't say I have my stuff figured out. A lot of my stuff isn't... I'm divorced, I've lived alone for the last 7 years, I learn everyday how to best myself as a father and I don't know much about anything else other than SX or MX... I do have the luxury not to rely on anyone's paycheck. I've made my money. I paid my divorced settlement in 1 deed signature and 1 wire transfer. Never blew money. Always invested and most importantly, I'm living very modestly compare to what I could be doing... I live in a "cheap"...

A lot of guys certainly left during Everts' reign, but don't forget that in the last 15 years there's been several MX2 World Champions who left for America before really moving up to MXGP, namely Ben Townley, Christophe Pourcel, Tyla Rattray, Marvin Musquin and Ken Roczen. Also, while Everts had a year where he could get two and even three wins in a single day, he was mostly limited to12 GPs in most of his other seasons, so Cairoli has had as many chances in his 15 years and counting as Stefan had in is 17 seasons. All that said...

True, I own a local track in a small town in Arizona and our numbers are half of what they used to be. I was talking to another track owner from the Phoenix area and he said that he’ll have 130 riders show up for a Saturday practice but can’t even get half that number to show up for a...
The Herlings thread was interesting but getting a little personal and weird between some of the opposing sides, so I thought out of respect to the conversation, as well as a question Bearuno had about Stefan Everts' brief time in supercross, I would post it here before it went off the rails again... In 1992 there was this surge in interest by Europe-based riders in coming to America for the early SX rounds, in part because they had seen how Jean-Michel Bayle had risen to the top, and also in part because a lot of Americans were the GPs and...

These numbers mean nothing if not put in relation of how many people wear a brace compared to the ones that don't wear a brace... 1000 times more people get hurt with a car compared to a jetpack. So jetpacks are safer now?

ccstrebe Added a reply to Shattered tibial plateu experience

Wow, I guess I got lucky. I was 52 when I broke my tibial plateau along with a fracture in the tib at mid shaft and a shattered heal, and that was just the right leg. Left leg I broke the ball off the femur, broke the femur mid shaft, and fractured the fib. I got the same plate and...

I really like the Triple Crown format but I wish points were given for each race. Could you imagine the suspence and intensity of tonight’s race if it was the Triple Crown format with each race being scored for points. With all three championships up for grab tonite it would be off the charts!!

I'm 58, I was loving my 450 until I broke both legs in six places a few years back. After a couple of years I tried to ride again but the 450 was too much bike for me at the time. So I figured I'd ease back into it on 250F in 2013. I loved how the 250F felt so...

After watching Osborne finish that race with a blown radiator hose, I would be curious to see how long the engine would last in each brand of 250 without any water in the radiator.

MXer DW - I have 3 RV spaces all next to each other across from you and down a little that are available if you know of anyone looking. I purchased them before I realized it was my daughters high school graduation weekend.
