It's nice to see Eli starting to become a man and not giving up so easily! The guy has so much talent and is such a smooth rider too.
It's also good to see another mud race in order to keep OUR riders up to snuff in ALL conditions.
I can't believe everyone gave Reed the same starting spot both Motos, LOL Especially when the officials were asked OUT LOUD if its cool to use the grass on the start and he said it's cool.
Roczen did a great job in the mud too, as its super hard after an major arm or wrist injury to learn mud again cause you use so many different muscles and styles. Kenny has probably the best tech. riding at this moment, he saves so much energy and such a different line than anyone else accept maybe Tomac. If you really watch him in person he has changed from upper shoulder arm/wrist strength to main torso/back strength in his riding style. He is just so smooth and such a perfect technique, kids should study his riding style and they will learn a great style. Once dude gets this perfected and gets comfortable with it he will be on top and Tomac and Herings better look out!

Great start sequence. Awesome start by Reed. The veteran using the alternate line to perfection.

The AMA really needs to come up with A FAIR set RULES 2 stokes VS 4 strokes! They "AMA" has messed around long enough PROTECTING Manufactures! Its time FAIR IS FAIR!
This SPORT is founded on fun and FAIR play then a race broke out. Lets keep it that way.
Manufactures of Electric and 2 cycle bike's will never have a fair chance if the powers to be "AMA" don't get off there chairs and go to work.

2 stokes and 2 stk. oils have come a long way in being cleaner and ECO friendly. With the emergence of injection there is NO problem at all with them.
Please support the companies and , Magazines that support US and NOT the companies that take advantage of us.
Have fun riding and play FAIR.

The 125 class needs to become a Regular National Pro Class again and to start with run 3/4 of the events to save riders money so more KIDS can enter and have a chance at the seasons points...

I thought it was a great race FOR MUD! And it was a good practice race in case MXDN turns muddy too. I do think we have a very strong team but then we had a strong team every year but like last year bad things happen and after so many wins with really no bad luck at all its bound to catch up sooner or later! As long as the team keeps there heads together we should be on the podium no problem and possibly a runaway win. i really thing Barcia is capable of smoking Tomac on this track and I do believe that if AP is on it no one can touch him too!

Didn't race it but road the crap out of it! It was my neighbors and we would switch all the time when we practiced, it was a wheely machine! I raced a Hodaka at that time.

Well, then they will have to fine or penalize BOTH 250/450 fields (every rider)cause by the end of the fist 450 moto every rider was using that same line and it ended up about the only line other than the right side and that line was even farther out! ... more »

Lawrence is in his final year in MX2, as he signed a multi-year deal with GECIO Honda in October that will see him compete in Monster Energy Supercross and Lucas Oil Pro Motocross beginning in 2019.

Added a comment about press release Legends & Heroes to Honor Arizona MX Great, Carlos Serrano, in Phoenix! 5/21/2018 3:53 PM

The seen 1972-3 BeeLine MX track night races 98degrees hundreds of bikes and lots of chicks. Carlos would get dropped off at the track 1/2 hung over from the party the night before and just hitched up from Tucson 2hrs away, no bike or any gear. He would go around and borrow a bike and helmet them gas, oil, boots and entry fee with the promise he'd pay back with his winnings after race,100% payback back then.
1st moto cause he usually missed practice he'd pull a top 5 start and by turn 4, was a big 180 and a sweet 5-6ft burm just before a drop off into the hole he would rail it feet on the pegs his butt hanging off the rear fender 20,000 rpm tormenting the clutch and would be first place by the time the rear wheel hit the ground. Everyone, jaws on the ground eyes big in amazement that he wasn't on the ground yet! And every lap it was the same, burm riding the fastest line he could find and if there wasn't a high line he made one. Every now and then someone, maybe Hickerson or someone would mount a charge when he started getting tyrd but he didn't get tyred very often, and only when real hung over. After the races monies were payed back and everyone was happy. The smoke and drinks"Negro Sombrero" straight from Mex. Tootsie's everywhere and lasted till morning most nights after the races cause most of us wouldn't party for 3-4 days before a race so had to make up..
Well, kinda like that anyway! LOL.......

Same here dude. Straight up disbelief. It’s all the more unbearable when everyone likes Dean so much as a person, besides being of fan of him as a racer.
