So....this might sting a little bit, but I emailed PC on a whim and they had a few 1996 pipes collecting dust at the time a few months ago. I snagged one for my 96 that I turned into a 1998 PC build. They are probably all gone now. I had just emailed them through their site it was something like info@pcracing.com. This took around two years to complete.

Well its not hard to locate parts when you are a former SX rider(and winner) and the PC shop is down the road...

You're going to compare lap times from guys in the first practice with guys who get the last practice ? Talk about comparing apples and oranges, it makes no sense.

He did cut the track at Loretta's a few years back, maybe two years after the 50cc big bore incident. He was docked positions then. So yea it's either strategy or desperation.

This sport, in its current state, is just not conducive to traditional journalism. This is coming from someone has worked as a reporter in multiple state legislatures. The teams, riders, OEMs, and promoters aren't big enough and don't care enough about press to fall under the same scrutiny as mainstream sports. What I learned going to school would all go right out the window if I worked in the moto industry. A real reporter can't work in moto because if you don't play along and get buddy-buddy with people, you don't get the story.
