That was Millville.
Rusty was coming by the mechanics area approx. 40-45 mph. He hit the board with his front number plate which caused it to shoot out in front of him. Once he caught up to it it became trapped against his chest under his chin and above his belt line. He tried to dislodge it by moving his body around.
Being seated rammed it against his chin and belt buckle. So it took him a little time to dislodge it.
He said he was in 12th and Mike was 13th.
He finally was able to dislodge it and saw Mike and tossed it at him.
He did not grab it while going around.

Rusty Holland is one hell of a racer at Mammoth, he held off John Down and McGrath for almost an entire moto back in 2006.
