He knocks these builds out in record time and it takes me months to locate parts for my build. Cheers DV for making everyone on vital look horrible at builds 😂

PS anyone have a Works PC pipe and silencer for 1995 kx125? 🙏

Well its not hard to locate parts when you are a former SX rider(and winner) and the PC shop is down the road...

I’m not talking about that...... He’s just finding old bikes and restoring them. I guess I should have been more specific. 🤷🏼‍♂️

You might want to venture in the Bike Builds section one of these days.

There’s some incredible builds in there.

I will say DV’s builds are about as, or more detailed, than the majority of builds in that section. Impressive his level of detail considering he was a factory rider!

Some builds in the Bike Builds section are just next level though, no competition.

The speed and detail of his builds are unmatched. There is some great builds on here and I’ve probably seen 75% them.

He does present some pretty cool looking bikes.

But to be fair, he just tears them down, sends the full engine off to a shop for a rebuild, send the suspensions off for a rebuild, uses some elbow grease and cleans everything up, order some off the shelf parts and then reassembles when it comes back. Not downplaying it but comparing the speed that he does things to joe blow tinkering away for an hour a day in his garage doing full cases apart rebuilds isn't exactly apples to apples.

But, if i had the means that's exactly how i would be doing my rebuild also.

So....this might sting a little bit, but I emailed PC on a whim and they had a few 1996 pipes collecting dust at the time a few months ago. I snagged one for my 96 that I turned into a 1998 PC build. They are probably all gone now. I had just emailed them through their site it was something like info@pcracing.com. This took around two years to complete.

DV is just like RV.

I like them about 1000x more these days than I did when they were racers. 😂😂

Tokyo_Tiddler just took his shirt off... I have never seen a restoration project as his 2001 CR250.

It's hard to say anything other than praise because it will be seen as a slight against DV and that is not
the case at all. Though if DV sees it, he will block you from all social media. ahhahah

But king? No chance. Yes, it very cool he gets these bikes, sends out the major components for work, places some calls for other parts and then puts together good machines. 100% cool.

But so many people have been doing that for so long it's not even funny. You'll never hear of them though as they don't have the name and social media. Hell, my '95 YZ250 long-rod rescue came out insane and I did everything including valving the '07 suspension swap.

I've always liked the rescue projects of Jay Clark and Lund MX. As far all out build, I'm not sure anyone compares to Tokyo Tiddler or Chadillac with his three speed CR250 and those TMs he built. The scary part with that guy is that he does ALL that insane detail work himself.

So yes, DV, please keep it up even if I no longer will see it as I am for sure blocked now. Laughing

Tokyo Tiddlers build went into great detail about the parts and some of the history behind it. His build was actually a large part of the deciding factor joining Vital. You won’t find another build that’s like reading a HRC history book.

I have the Bradshaw build , it’s headed to a buyer in Australia.
There are many other builds going on lately out there that although they are loaded with new goodies they end up being damn ugly.
DV is putting out some clean looking resto’s for sure.

I’m far for a king in building bikes but enjoy turning bikes that no one would buy into showroom bikes. Plus, I’m supporting local people in there rough times by paying them to do work I could do myself but don’t want to & don’t want to get equiped to do. It’s a hobby. Hobby often means spending money. I lost money on the 3 builds I sold but not a big deal since the Yamaha money hasn’t dried out yet. For the people talking s***, I’m not doing it to impress anyone but only to enjoy myself and fill my free time...

I think the builds Look great, very clean Looking design. The 125,s Look the best. DV12. Was a great 125 rider. 97 KW was on his 3 rd yr at Yamaha. DV12 beat him in 125 sx. 97 foxhills Chiodi and Carl Nuun had a great battle for the lead. DV12. Comes out of no where, blisting riders. They all 100 % tapped wo, great track, crowd was super loud. 97 Minneapolis sx, DV got 2nd to KW. They both rode great. Told my girlfriend watch 934 and 7, off the triple doing heel clickers.
