8/9/2022 1:15pm Thank you, yes to do circles instead is a good way. Just have to find the max amount of riders in one circle to avoid a traffic jam. How to turn the throttle is great, I have talked about it but feel now that I should push it a little more. Unfortunately in EU it's more common with a lever...

8/9/2022 1:08pm Thanks man, yes I think I will do one of the classes with some part removals. A good excersise for the parents also. Agree as well with the speed.. That is the risk with mx and similar sports, anyone can gain a lot of speed but the challenge is to have it under control. And that is the goal for...

8/9/2022 12:57pm My 7 yr old son watches motocross videos (he likes the Deagan’s on YouTube) then he goes out and mimics what he sees in the videos. He will do this all day long..watch videos then ride and repeat. Chad Reed is strict with his kids riding technique and so I’ll have him watch his kids ride. I like what Ryno has to say- balls of your feet on the pegs, stand up, back straight, hips rolled back..been showing him those videos too.. If I tell him he won’t listen, if he sees a video of someone else telling him to...

asax771 Started a new thread Technique drills for kids
8/8/2022 1:29pm Hi, I am coaching a kids group in our local mx club with 10 kids on 50 and 65 ages 7 to 11. Focus is riding position and general technique to increase speed safely. The group is a little mixed with some that are more beginners and some that are faster and have started to race. Its really fun but...

5/20/2021 10:29am I had the same issue with my SIDI boots. Felt like they fit tight and good testing them in the shop but after riding for a while it hurt so much. Toe area was good but as you said the middle of the foot was squeezed. I rode in denial for a while but then decided to sell them and...
I will maybe state some obvious things but I don't think armpump is a mystery with some secret solution. As many have mentioned the problem is often not in the arms themselves but the fact that the muscles become overloaded... So the solution is to use the muscles less by compensate for having to hold on to the handlebar... For...

2/9/2021 4:47am So i went and bought one of these “blue pigs” after I took a ride on one of my friends yz250f. I was riding a ktm 350 sxf -16 and was quite happy, but after i tested the yamaha i was done with the ktm. Felt so good and stable and fast. But i cant own a bike without “personalize” it, and I’m a bit allergic to blue yamahas. So as the topic reveals it is going to be a magenta pink bike, going to use the -92 graphics and go from there to create the perfect custom kit. Ordered...

1/21/2021 10:50pm I appreciate the insight, I’ve just now gotten to the head removal stage and may remove the engine when I get to the bottom end. Either way will take me some time since my wife and I work opposite 12s so I might as well get it a little cleaner while I’m at it lol.

asax771 Added a reply to Engine removal for top end?
1/21/2021 9:29am I always remove the whole engine and take the opportunity to clean the places that is hard to reach and also grease the linkage etc. Much nicer to have the engine on the bench also when assembling everything. But if you are in a hurry then it is not neccesary on your bike.

1/19/2021 10:44am He is way ahead of his age, he is turning 6 in July and have tried his sisters Ktm 65 a few times and have no problem shifting up and down at the right moments. I think it will be good and stimulating for his riding, and here in Sweden there is no racing for kids until they turn 7 yrs old so we feel there is no need to train on the 50cc. And of course, I like building bikes 😊. Throwing in a picture of him from a race (finished 1st place)

asax771 Added a reply to Best way to clean you’re header pipe?
12/18/2020 2:46am I pressure wash the dirt off my raw steel HGS 2t pipe, then scothbrite then wipe it with oil from the spill oil bucket. Sometimes I use a rim cleaner with oxalic acid that removes the surface rust quite easy, then wipe with oil. But this is one of the worst tasks in the cleaning process.
