I read that the US is repositioning a carrier strike group to that region, so something may be in works, but it is probably just a tool to use for negotiations. 100% agree with you. And it's not just people in here, it's also the most prominent media people in the industry in their podcasts shows saying the same stuff. The guy fucking battered his wife on at least one occasion and you have people downplaying it everywhere, and wishing him the best.

Didn’t take the time to read the entire thread here but what I will say is what I see so often in sports especially this sport. Your results and success in your sport should never be held above your character. There’s been more than a few great racers some past, some current that people turn a blind eye to because they can rip on a dirtbike. If Jason did indeed do what he’s been accused of well then I’m out.

There is more to life than a job and a relationship.. I hope getting out of the spot light allows Jason to find peace.

What a shame that this is the way he leaves the sport. Phenomenal rider when he’s on. Has frustrated me more and more the last couple of years the way he was riding, but have always been a huge fan. Actions have consequences, JA is learning the hard way on this one.
