Aimzzz Started a new thread Allergic to KT tape
6/10/2020 11:14pm So slightly random question. I hurt my knee a while back and I’m supposed to ride with KT tape on my knee. Problem is I’m allergic. Does anyone know if you can pre wrap your knee or if there’s something else I can use? I’ve got a hospital knee brace to wear if no tape but it’s bulky and very...

3/28/2020 3:34pm This happens a lot man. To most everyone. Hitting the deck sucks and once the physical pain goes away the mental game is still there. Some people have a short memory and some don’t. Just keep riding, it’ll happen for you. Enjoy riding and stop focusing on that one jump and the bad stuff that can happen.

3/28/2020 3:34pm It’s only practice but I’ll race my best mate there and he’s also a bit hesitant on that jump which doesn’t help

3/28/2020 3:33pm Scrub it and get the back tire on the ground producing acceleration. Some track owners are clueless so it might not be you. Don't break your body because it is the only one you get..

3/28/2020 3:33pm Bike set up is all fine I think, it’s a 2020 125 so shouldn’t have a problem. I landed on the front wheel and ended up going over the handlebars...

3/28/2020 3:32pm We don,t know how your crashing. Is the bike set up correct? Shock sag, rebound clicker, low, high speed rebound set correct. Shock shaft extensive oil, bad seal. Whatch Roby Reynard 98 Unadilla, after gravity cavity, next jump is ski jump similar. Bring a friend to watch you, film you. I like shock rebound to b slow, less chance of rear wheel pointed at the sky, off a big triple. And having to jump off 30 feet in the air.

3/28/2020 8:42am Time and practice builds confidence. What cause you to crash/hurt yourself when you jumped it? Lack of speed? Lack of commitment? or something else?

3/28/2020 8:41am The first time I jumped it after it was made steeper I went a lot faster over it. Landed on the front wheel which didn’t end well

3/28/2020 6:26am Hey guys I think there’s been some other posts about this kinda stuff but idk. So I’ve a bit of an issue on a particular ski jump at my track. It used to be my favourite jump and I’d go pretty high and it was sick. Just before Christmas they revamped the track and made it steeper. On my second...

9/9/2019 1:03pm It’s not supposed to prevent collarbone fractures, but neck injuries. I know the Leatt 5.5 manages to disperse over 40% of the forces away from your neck. They are supposed to dissipate the force away from your neck and vital parts. Eg always from neck, spine... they are rumoured to increase chance of collarbone breaks, but massively decrease neck breaks...

9/9/2019 1:00pm How can a neck brace decrease the likelihood of a collarbone injury? I would love to see some demographics along with the rest of the data. Seems more as if people who wear neck braces are more risk averse in general and don’t wreck big like those without. Good on them for collecting all this data though. The likeliness of death should have been left out, far too few (thankfully) to have any meaning in regards to kneckbrace yes/no. If the Atlas commercial on Pulp wasnt so fu#%ing cringe, I might even try one.

9/8/2019 11:46pm I wear the Leatt Airfit 3DF stuff and that loops onto the bottom of the brace. Hands down most comfortable gear I’ve worn

9/8/2019 6:20am Have you tried Leatt 5.5 with a loop on your body armour or chest strap? Had no problem looking up with mine

8/3/2019 2:47am Not sure where you plan to come in Spain. But summer here is not for Moto..... Half the tracks closed, the other 40% hard as concrete and dusty, and maybe the remaining 10% gets prepped but only lasts til 10 am with some moisture due to the heat

8/3/2019 1:45am Drive takes day from UK to Spain with your own van? There are many places to rent, Murcia motocross holidays, Destination MX and so on. You can crate bikes in parts and ship as many UK are going to holidays this time. But dont wait to track be nothing else than hard dry dust this time of year in Spain. Winter is time to go there.
