9/14/2017 2:16pm Yea, that motor mount and pipe mount does not sit in the same spot as the 2017 SXF 450. Things look much tighter. So for sure i think you are looking the new frame and engine. Well done!
aees Added a reply to GP Rumors -> MX2 Teams closing their doors
9/13/2017 6:54am How many would get support from a team, riding AMA SX first year with so many riders out of contract already in US. Those Euro-riders would hardly make it to the A-group in 250 supercross. Look at someone like Freddy Noren, rode 2 years of Arenacross, looked like a newbie first 2 years in Supercross. Now he is on 3...

9/13/2017 6:51am Looked now, Honda 11 and Kawi 12 in the points in the championship. Not even a podium or top 5 this year? Not a lot of exposure, but a shitload of money spent. Better take that MX2 budget, spend it on EMX and contract some promising riders to then continue with in MX2 and at least have the possibility to...

9/13/2017 6:37am Might be that they hold it for 1-2 years while recruiting younger riders from EMX and waiting for them to become MX2 capable riders. With Husky and KTM sweeping the winns, i doubt having no MX2 team make a huge difference in their sales of bikes. Not like they been getting a lot of exposure this year, and if they...

9/13/2017 4:42am Know when it was serviced last time, clicker is in default setting including HSC? Can play a huge role. Sag around 100mm? You are a bit heavy for the stock springs, if you now have the stock springs. 2 steps up should be good.

9/12/2017 11:57am ML, Cant you try and reprimand this kind of shit? when you have 10 threads going on that you "listen" to, half of the posts are pure bs. Some of the topics as well like "have you heard latest about js7 - oh i have not but wanted someone to click on it" Lower the quality of the forum.

9/12/2017 12:34am Cant see them dropping the AER as long as it gets the reviews it gets. WP also released last year Cone Valve AER. If Husky was smart, they would go for spring fork. The question is just what fork should they run? The CC fork is outdated and has not been used since 2015. Enduro forks has poor reviews. 4CS...
aees Added a reply to Dunlop vs pirelli
9/12/2017 12:22am Dunlop has stiffer sidewalls then Pirelli, so lower air pressure is needed to get some traction. Pirelli should be 13.5-14 psi rear, and 14 front. Rider weight also impact pressure, as well as riding style and type of tracks. 12-13psi and 2.5mm tube in rear tire is just to low on a track that has tendency to get square edge.

9/11/2017 12:32pm Performance wise, no production tire beats Pirelli MX32. Same rubber mix and design as they use in MXGP. In combination with a Michelin Mousse tube (1200gram), it is a deadly traction combination. Tire sidewalls are soft, thats what makes it great for traction. Run around 0.9.1.00bar if you run it with a tube. Not less air then that. 80-100/21 in...

9/7/2017 4:30am It also depends on what bike you run. On a 450, one click slower rebound (in rear), or faster in front can make the bike difficult to turn with, while at a 125 or 250 would not be noticeable. Just look at Tomac, 13 to 1 just changing from more hard packed to soft track setup.

9/6/2017 2:03am AC222 went to 450 when the new one came out 2015/2016. The advantage of the 350 was basically gone since the 450 became so nimble and easy to ride with all weight shaved of (engine + chassi). Herlings has tested the 350, but he gave up to much in the starts so went with 450. A light weight rider could...

9/5/2017 12:47pm I think 1 to 3, is kind of different from going 13 to 1. Specially since he has told us he was worn out, and did not do some sections that JH and AC did so he lost some time there every lap.

9/5/2017 12:33pm Yea to some extent. You can compare deep sand to supercross, both are very very different from the US tracks that lucas oil runs on. The bike settings for real sand races (where most of the euro guys practice during weeks because of the demanding nature of those tracks) cant be compared to a hardpacked or US setup. Herlings runs...

9/4/2017 1:28pm Really interesting Tomac changed a few settings on suspension at WW and went from 10-13 guy and a few seconds off, to suddenly being at the top. Setup does not mean that much...

9/1/2017 1:52am Yes, but if you dont brake hard you neither need to have stiff forks. Braking hard puts load on the forks making them dive.
aees Added a reply to The "Americans ride a lot of Supercross" excuse
9/1/2017 1:40am Europe Pro riders do 60% or more riding sand. Someone like Herlings has completely different bike setup for that (even different forks). That setup and riding technique is equally different than supercross. So, either riding difference conditions and styles adds to being a better rider, or it does not. Europe rider also travel more and are exposed to more different...

8/31/2017 1:48pm The issue is the same on every level. Practice track shape, and race shape are two completely different worlds. They talked about this so many times, you can not find tracks in US that are beaten down to the level it reaches for a race. Neither do you get the same pace (read speed) during practice. In Europe you have...

8/31/2017 7:53am So why does anyone ever go into and adjust clickers unless it helps with going faster? And number of times Dungey had these issues 2015 where he lost 2sec a lap to second motor because they went in the wrong direction. Spare me it is all in his head please and to get comfortable on the bike. Tomac shaved off...

8/31/2017 5:50am That is exactly how it works, you missed Ironman? Tomac was adjusting x3 in panic and shaved of 2.3 sec. I guess he did that for fun. 2-3 sec per lap, easilly on setup regardless if it is 1-2mm of offset, or changing clickers. AMA Pro licens says shit, i almost had a pro licens. I "worked" with top suspension...
