I think sometimes people get too hung-up on what the magazine reviews say about bikes. I race a 99 KX250 with stock suspension setup for my weight only and it handles really well. No issues with handling or ‘difficult to turn’.

Brother. You have to realize when people are critical of his results it’s because they’re are comparing his results relatively to his competition, not themselves. The whole “I’d like to see YOU do better” argument is so stupid. He’s a professional racer, I am not. I’m not comparing him to myself but rather his competition. And another thing I can’t stand in these arguments is the whole “you guys complain when riders are cookie-cutter robots and don’t tell it how it is”.
