From Jorge Prado's Instagram account:
"P-6 Overall in the @promotocross standings. It was a very tough season to say the least. Cruising around every single race was heartbreaking for me, especially knowing my capabilities… Never felt comfortable on the bike, not even a bit! This builds to an unsafe feeling on it. Didn’t expect this year to go this way at all.
Happy to be in one piece and fit. Hopefully we’re back where we belong soon 🫡"
He needs to look in the mirror if he wants to see the real issue.
But he can push for the first part of the race?
Either way I hope he returns to riding at his potential whatever that takes
i mean he tried the bike before signing the contract right?
He is not even worthy of posting instagrams at this point. I mean really, who the hell does he think he is?

"I dunno man."
wow
Bruh, thats the nail in coffin for Kawasaki right there, surely they'll be absolutely pissed off, Prado shows no accountability at all.
I don’t think I’ve seen someone publically shit can an employer like this and remain employed. He’d better be sure it’s the bike, time will tell I guess- but man he’s backed himself into a corner
What exactly should he be saying to show accountability? If he doesn’t feel safe on the bike what’s he supposed to do? Go out there and yard himself?
Zero accountability or humility.
"Part of it could be me.."
Nope.
Zero.
Nada.
Que cojones Jorge! You let all of the EU down with this year, damn man. And to think that Spain conquered the whole western world just 500 years ago. History would look a lot different if Jorge was in charge
😂 lawddd Jesus , to me 2 things can be true, brotha prado needs to take accountability in his effort level & the kawi is just not for him plain & simple , even tho colt ain’t go to the extreme lvls of bike blaming, we just went thru tht situation with colt & beta , chase & his father for some reason didn’t like tht last yr model of Honda he was on , it is wht it is , certain bikes is just not made for certain racing athlete liking but also back to my 1st point , prado quitting & his effort lvl is just bs & unacceptable
I want Chase to come out and put that bike on the podium every week and win his share of races just to show it’s not the bike.
I’ll give him credit for speaking honestly, but I also feel bad for Kawasaki. I’m sure they worked really hard to make it work. It’s obviously not a good fit so I suspect they will go separate ways soon. Then the pressure will be on Jorge to right the ship.
To be fair, P6 for the season is pretty commendable in Pro Motocross. However, with how much effort the Kawasaki team has allegedly put towards this bike, Prado has rendered himself impossible to root for with his antics. The fact that privateers battled with him throughout the season is evidence enough that there are more issues than just the bike. I’m curious - does “Hopefully, we’re back were we belong soon” mean that he’s back up front, or back on KTM… me thinks the latter, and if so, what a little shit.
I actually can't believe he got 6th overall with 5 overall finishes way outside the top 10th and multiple motos hovering around 18-20th place. He literally rolled laps and laps with one hand of his handle bars in multiple races. If Kawi and Prado actually stay together after SMX I don't know what to say.
That gypsy tales video hits different now when he said that the KX was instantly way better than the Gasgas, after testing SX once or twice? Yeah, you only want to glaze your new team obviously, but still, really weird how he talked about his old bike specially that brought him multiple championships. Lost me as a fan this season (not that anyone cares haha) and I have been a fan since he came up from EMX and battled Herlings in one of his first races when he was like 15 years old? Just sad to watch this year.
Prado added an update down in the comment section of his post:
Man what a disaster for everyone involved. I can’t help but be intrigued
Pit Row
Sure he did, he’s trying to save face.
If ando wasn't injured i believe prado would've been gone a few races ago. Kawi needs a rider out there for sponsors sake hence why he still on the team. Epic fail for kawi. On the AC and JB podcast AC talked about kawi should re-sign ando for SX and give marchbanks MX duties.
So, no SMX then, one can only assume?
The season confirms what I have stated from the start, that although a four-time world champion, a world class starter, and a very good rider, Jorge is no better than the tenth fastest guy in the world.
why is everybody tripping on prado? I seriously don't get the obsession... guy didnt like the bike and saved his own ass. im having a very hard time seeing the issue.
Auto douche for using the word bruh
Still backing the guy
He’d rather be honest and not be laid out injured
99% of you on here angrily typing away could not achieve what he has in a hundred lifetimes, I’m genuinely baffled why it bothers you all so much
You complain when riders are not transparent
You complain when riders say & do exactly what they’re feeling
Keep doing you Prado, trust yourself & see you on the podium next year 🫡
Am I the only one who was hoping he would just quit during the race and leave? Seriously gtfo. It's him, not the bike. He only has 5th place ability here in this series.
His dad needs to kick his ass tbh. What a bad look for an incredibly talented rider. Go get a sports psychologist
Brother. You have to realize when people are critical of his results it’s because they’re are comparing his results relatively to his competition, not themselves.
The whole “I’d like to see YOU do better” argument is so stupid. He’s a professional racer, I am not. I’m not comparing him to myself but rather his competition. And another thing I can’t stand in these arguments is the whole “you guys complain when riders are cookie-cutter robots and don’t tell it how it is”. He’s not being honest; he takes zero accountability. That is the root of all the criticism.
I think practically everybody hoped he would succeed over here since it would be better for us fans/viewers. No one likes a quitter, especially in this sport. He’s going to (justifiably) be called on that. It’s literally the one thing you can’t do in moto and not hold yourself accountable: give up.
I agree and hope he does, but Chase is not exactly the mental giant of the sport will be great to watch.
I wonder how Jorge will do on another Brand?
That's deep...bro
