2/1/2016 8:18am Bikes get torn down and parts shipped back to their shops. Look at what reed did last year, had photos posted of boxes and boxes of parts being returned. Some parts stick around their own shops or at the race shops. sometimes parts make it out as hand me downs or are used for other bikes.

1/31/2016 11:17am Do the 250 guys actually run works trans with 4 or 5's when they're 5 or 6's stock!? I thought only the big teams were re-gearing.. I don't know why you would take away any gear with the smaller displacement.... Wonder what ratios short uses......... So many questions.

Didn't think of that. but also if a guy is in 2nd or 3rd, and only 5 or 10 points out instead of 15 or 20. he might push harder each weekend to make up the gap whereas with a larger gap they assume they're out of...
