Love watching this kid ride. He's like rabid mad dog coming through the pack, although I wish he could improve his starts and get that MEC magic back on his starts.

definitely becoming a fan more and more.

He gives 110% all 20 laps, I'm a fan.

From 11th to 4th and put in consistently FAST laps in traffic...while passing and/or pulling away from all but the top 3...

A lot can be said about Chad's speed, too.

totally agree. anderson is the real deal. if someone can beat dungey for the title it will be anderson or kenny I believe. reed is lacking speed and tomac is definitely not 100% dialed in (bike and body)!

I think Reed heard JA whisky throttle @ decided not to risk jumping the last tripple, a big look back from him @ the pass was complete.

I like JA's style, it is a bit on the ragged edge, whether he irons that out or not during the course of the season we shall see..

I feel like he is a little hazardous......to himself and other riders out there. I am all for the 100% effort, just wish he would tame it down a hair. Sometimes you watch him huckabuck through rhythm sections all by himself.......a lot.

He might seem like that but really doesn't get into too much trouble on track with other riders, yeah the reed pass was a little close but that lies on chad in that section mostly...

give him the benefit of the doubt. he's not out there plowing into people and taking their wheels out all over the place like a few of the riders this year. he's loose, confident and willing to push the edge.

Haha!! I'm glad you got that. He has so much flow and comfort on the bike. Relaxed, Natural. Some guys got it, Some guys don't. If he grows into more consistency he has serious potential.

He does flow extremely well, can pull off combo-transitions better then anyone & he does look waaaaaay more fluid than anyone other than The Chad.

Dude, do you even lift?

It's funny, I expected Chad to look good and be very helpful with developing the bike; but, did I expect him to be "in it" for 20 Laps all this time? No.

And ya know what he's Sayin"...?

He's laughin'...

never said he is way off pace. but as of right now, anderson can come from outside the top 10 to pass him whilst reed is hardly making any moves forward. he was following seely for half the race. last week tomac and roczen almost got him coming from outside the top 10 as well.
reed has good starts and good speed that will keep 15 riders behind him for most the races. that's all, not more, not less.
just don't see him winning as long as anderson, dungey, roczen or tomac is anywhere near him. i'd like to be proofen wrong but as of right now, that's my opinion.

That pass Anderson put on Seely at Oakland was beyond smooth and he keeps getting slicker each week. He came out a bit rough around the edges in terms of his passing, but he is staying aggressive and tearing through the field consistently.
