Davies is pretty much the anti-Deegan. Likeable, humble and took that on the chin better than any teen I know. If you can’t root for that kid, you can suck it.

Picked up my 25 450SR today! Can't wait to see how it compares to my 23 SR. I put 75 hours on the 23 and loved every minute.

Have you ever tried to go 165 on a kx450? Or does your kx have lights? Gauges? Ignition lock? Turn signals? Horn? Kick stand? Catalytic converter? EPA certs? Dot testing and certs? Locking fuel cap? Massive fuel tank? Rad fans? Dual front rotors? Tires that are twice as wide? Body work that’s 10x the cost? Etc etc I totally never understood how a street bike could be priced lower than a dirtbike especially a 2 stroke dirtbike that doesn’t have any electronics and super simple.

If your throttle is fwd or back or upside down, it doesn’t change the position of cracking the throttle.

The fastest qualifier, Chase Brennan, was on KTM and he was also doing the finish double in qualifying. He got a bad start but caught Carter before the finish line. Carter looks back and sees Chase and then sends the finish line jump which gave him a 2 second lead again. Chase catches back up to him again but then the race was over. Before the race they were told not to jump it. The kid he was battling with that got second was also doing it in qualifying. If I remember correctly, I’m pretty sure Carter made the pass for the lead by jumping it so it only makes sense to dock him if the rules were to not jump it.

I don't understand the bitching about the exhaust bolts. Everyone makes it sound like it's some major job getting the exhaust header bolts off. It's super easy, regular t handle on the clutch side and then a few turns on the stator side with a box or open end wrench, and then you can reach in and unthread it the rest of the way with your fingers. No special tools needed.
