Hansen has been around in the pro ranks for a long time now. He has a lot of natural talent and has been lucky enough to keep getting opportunities to race, when other talented riders haven't due to the financial situation etc. I really thought that Hansen had begun to appreciate his opportunities and was going to repay the faith that pro circuit had put in him the past couple of years, but it looks like he has lost the title due to unlucky injuries and poor racing choices.

You can't wish this sort of bad luck on anybody, but you do have to ask whether 'karma' has played a part in this seasons results. Hansen seems to have quite a chip on his shoulder and always acts like 'the cool guy'. Maybe being an ass for the past ten years has finally caught up with him?

HAHAHAHAHA!!!! lil' Hanny got what he deserved!!! Now thats comedy... I wish it could have been someone like Cunningham or some one, or better yet Tickle. Now that would have been some funny shit.

How could you body check someone when you are in front of them. Tomac knew it was coming because Hanny tried it two other times already that race and was protecting himself from Hanny trying to blast him.

Yep, Tomac knew it was coming and put the perfect move on Hanny, excellent. I'm kind of glad it was Tomac and not Tickle, but Tomac will have to watch out in Vegas and he has a lot more to lose now.

Wow....it never ceases to amaze me how many folks get off on bad things happening to other people.

Hanny tried a go for the throat move and it didn't pay off, that's racing.
That was a last 5 laps kind of move and he didn't even execute it....Tomac was smart and anticipated it.

I have always been one to say that if you live by the sword die by the sword and Hanny got himself that time.

He's a talented guy and will do well on the 450.

it is really not that at all, it is that 'hanny' is always MAKING bad things happen to other riders, even ones he is faster than he makes a point to hit them and most people like to see a certain amount of natural consequence or justice served...

hanny only hurt his pride, he didn't injure himself or anyone else, just looked like the ass that he is on the track(no comment on his person or personality)...

it was the best moment in the entire season, either class...

Karma is false. If it's real then "who" is deciding what is owed or granted? However I will say that you reap what you sow!

I don't get how anyone can be a fan of his. He has taken out all kinds of people, he rides dirty, he is VERY arrogant about it, he's even a dick to his own teamate in the media! His smug arrogance is what really gets me he has been racing pro for like 10 years and he still can't win a 250 title!
At least he doesn't spend his days or evenings on Vital bashing & crying about pro racers like some people including yourself do. LOL Grinning Grinning Grinning

I'm a fan of the sport,I like all the riders and have respect for everyone of them that line up,including the so-called dirty ones.
Not to mention, any correspondence I have ever had with Hanny,he has always been more then cool and a super nice guy.
And I'm certain that anyone that knows him will tell you that.
Where is Button or Hill? Smile

They call us problem child
We spend our lives on trial
We walk an endless mile
We are the youth gone wild
We stand and we won't fall
We're the one and one for all

the other thing that's funny is that if anyone even gets REMOTELY close to hanny on the track, he goes for the take out from there on. seeing him laying under his bike getting passed by the entire field made my day

Would he really have been so apologetic with his Tweets had his move on Tomac been successful?
He would have said something about being aggressive because he was riding for the title.

Either way, he isn't sorry. It's just who he is......If you can't beat them, knock them down so you don't have to worry about them.

Check out Hansen's response at 1:24. At 27 years old, still in the Lites class with teenagers and with no titles he finally realizes training might be a good idea? No wonder he races 1/4 of a season. He wouldn't last through an entire outdoor season.

When you look back at the whole season, it was very rare for him to make a pass on anyone for position without trying to take them out, you have to know that is going to eventually catch up to you.

He could have just settled in behind Tomac and watched for weaknesses or places to pass. Seemed like he was out of his mind.
I dislike this phrase, but here goes...................................................WORD.

I was just cleaning up the DVR to record this week's action, and came across the LA Dodger Stadium race. WOW all these karma comments hit home pretty hard. I remember when he and Langston tied for the East coast 250 title and he lost due to the tie breaker, don't know that he has ever fully recovered from that.

I was so happy when this happened. He went for the takeout and got taken out. And threw away the championship in the process. Tomac figured the move was coming and cut down early in the turn. Smart move by the young kid and I'm pulling for him in Vegas. Hansen is definitely my most hated rider by far. He's been taking out the young kids for about 7 years now and I hope he never gets a championship. If he gets bumped up to the 450, which I think might be 2012, he'll either retire or get taken out by people who have as much experience as him. Hansen found out what karma was last Saturday.
