Yep, and pair that with his riding flaws and we saw what happened.
Would you like a certificate or a medal?
i think he's gonna be a disaster anywhere until he figures things out between his ears. would love to see him go to GPs for awhile.
I really hope this time off has improved the between the ears at least somewhat

I think him quitting and leaving that mess of a team shows that already. Dude woke up
Even a blind squirrel...
People who haven't seen this coming are just in denial. Kawasaki was on the downward slope even when Tomac was still over there. Yes, he was winning races, but everything about the team sucked. Then when you combine someone who allegedly isolates themself when things get tough, and a team that believes if one rider can win on the bike, everyone can mentality; the divorce papers will be signed pretty quick.
Either one. Thanks for asking 😆
It’s what was between his legs that needed fixing…
Credit. I remember the entire Pulp show roster including JT having Chase on the top near Jett as Championship contender. Hard to dispute given how close he was in ‘25.
I would say the obvious move would be to replace Dan Fahie as the manager, but that is from the outside looking in, from what Weimer said, and then hearing Fahie blaming chase (even if it was chase you don’t blame your rider, good leaders take accountability) he’s been the manager for 15 years and they’ve not had great success for about as long, yes they’ve had big budgets and attracted some big names and got some wins and championships but it doesn’t sound like anyone has been fully stoked on the bike for a LONG time!
If this was football that manager would’ve been gone 10 seasons ago
I hope you have someone to pop your shoulder back in after patting your own back so enthusiastically.
Sometimes you got to pat yourself on the dam back when no one will do it for you.
Spot on. Tomac has a little more tact it seems like. I wouldn’t doubt he put in his time and couldn’t wait to get out of there as soon as his contract ended. Played the whole “everything is great here” part and peaced out at the first opportunity.
Yes Cayden we are all proud of you…was a great idea to start a thread about yourself..definitely not about seeking attention.
Chase to Stark Futures. Stamp it
He would kick ass if
Not to worry, his gold star sticker is in the mail so it can be awarded during “share” time on Monday morning.
Pit Row
Not Necessarily. He just needs a bike that's already pretty dialed so that when he inevitably makes a mistake with setup, the bike is still in the ballpark. People act like it's just his oddball preferences screwing up the bike, but if that was the case, why did he win and look competitive on Pro Circuit suspension VS Factory Parts? Edit: And why was he competitive with Honda the whole time he was there? Because the bike is either good or bad to begin with. He's just riding the bike, he isn't Roger D working behind the scenes with all the answers from 40-50 years in the sport.
You wouldn't have cases like the current Kawasaki team, or pre Star Racing Factory Yamaha if some bikes/parts builds just straight up didn't work, and others did. He just needs to go somewhere like HEP Suzuki, Factory Suport Austrian team, or Club MX where the bike is already competitive and pretty hard to mess up.
he wins when the window lines up and probably when his hindbrain tells him whatever he just changed must be better. doesn't mean he isn't a common variable
So why was he more competitive on the Honda and KTM towards the end, than the Kawasaki? Just because all the teams spend a lot of money, doesn't mean that MX is Nascar, or anything close to that. And yes, believe it or not, professional dirtbike racers can ride a 450 to its full capacity, whether or not Keefer, Swap, or Jody believe that's the case. The Factory Kawasaki is the "common variable" for every one of their riders getting terrible starts every race since Tomac was there.
I'm not buying that the Kx450 is a bad bike. There may have been management issues, but the bike did well in MxGP, and Marchbanks surprised most people on it over here. Plus, Chase won twice on it, then missed a ton of races due to injuries.
We know why Prado left. We don't know why Sexton left Kawi. Maybe we'll find out. Sexton has left 3 teams in a short time frame.
I believe it was a matter of time, and the Kx could've been dialed in to his liking.
He complained about the Ktm too, but the consensus is that toward the end, he was gelling with it.
To me, the biggest issue is that riders and teams need to honor contracts.
It sets a bad precedent that riders can just bail.
I hope Chase finds the team that he gels with and can stay awhile.
Switching bikes so often is probably the worst thing for career. It takes time to dial in a bike.
Ask Jorge and Chase if it's a bad bike.
It's a great bike for us normal folk but for the elite, it's a different story.
