It's about the same all over in the Western world. Most countries are truly nice and lovely, but due to (mostly) rising inequality people are starting to protest. Now inequality is partly accelerated by immigration, not because of that they come from a different culture but by the fact they usually (except in the US, the tech industry) are getting low paying jobs and we have accelerating inflation. In most western countries the youth can also see that it's really difficult (or just pure luck) to get to the standard of living as people older than them (and no, it's not because of money going to Starbucks). I love Sweden, it's such a nice place to live, but also, we are the gang related murder capital of Europe nowadays!!!!.... same goes for the US, what a lovely country with amazing nature, but I've also seen skid-row in LA with my own eyes. Now I know that is drug related, but in most cases in the western world it's our accelerating inequality. I have a bit pessimistic view here, I think it will only get worse, much worse.... there will be civil wars and really bad times, the increasing large masses will get so much larger, become the majority and will compete for scraps while we have truly science fiction where people live in huge wealth never seen before. I'm 50yo so I was lucky, got a good job in the 90s and life has been good, I'm sure if I was born 2015 life would not become even closely as good. Same in EVERY country in the western world.
