Only $10 for all 2026 SX, MX, and SMX series.
Last time I bought tickets was for San Diego, just before they shut down everything for COVID. Last year, my niece bought me tickets for San Diego as a gift.
It was nice to be back in the stadium.....BUT....too many freaking drunk idiots has just ruined the experience. Guess I'm old and I'd just rather watch on TV in the comfort of my own home.
I'm done with it.
Was thinking about going to the Baltimore round. Just checked out the prices. No thanks.
San Diego 2025 I waited in line for 2 hours only to be told no parking so I just went home. I couldn’t find parking anywhere, at this point it’s 30 mins before races start. So this year 2026 I arrived at 1:30pm and same shit “no parking available” so I had to park in that neighborhood and wait 3 hours then walked 1 mile to the stadium. I guess you either have to get there very early for the pits, or prepay.
When we go to events like that, we park away from the stadium and ride the trolley in
The Shop
Luxon 4-Post Bar Mounts
$189.95 - $239.95
DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
Me and my girlfriend came over for Indy SX, it cost us $338 total for 2 tickets, as a one off going as tourists we can justify it, but realistically if they go up anymore we can’t. It felt like we were getting milked dry, the outdoors are better value imo
I won't even pay the increased peacock price any longer, lol, and I love this sport more than any other. I won't spend beyond my means. As a single father working a humble job, other things take priority.
I spend that taking the wife out for a nice dinner, and we do that several times a year. That price once a year isn’t gonna scare me off. My son in law and daughter spent 1600 on Greta Van Fleet tickets less than 2 years ago. So I guess in comparison, 160 isn’t too bad.
Must be Michelin Star Restaurants..
No not really.
Ticket prices are too high, then you get raped on parking and food/drink costs at the stadium.
And then a rider gets hurt and you're asked to donate to a gofundme because none of that $ makes it to the riders.
I'll just watch on tv from home. No obnoxious drunks, it's quieter, and better coverage anyway other than the RCisms.
Thats fine but this same argument is why prices are 2x what they were several years ago and why they will be 2x again in another few years.
Corporation are happy to take 3x your money for the same product
I take my wife to a few big name concerts a year. Half decent tickets (not on the floor) are about $250 each. The last time I looked, the cheapest tickets to a Cowboys game was $150.
So, I'd say that SX pricing isn't completely out to lunch.
I think the rest of us are saying ALL those tix are out to lunch.
My dad and I are most likely going to A2 for the first time(we’ve gone to A1 every year starting in 2023). Tickets are $85 for sections 409 and 410. Why is the damn service fee $20? I’m happy the fees are shown now, but what is Ticketmaster smoking? $65 for the ticket $20 for the fee, i mean it’s worth it because it’s an all day experience. But come on man. A few years ago parking was $25, I think.
What’s up neighbor, I’m in CDA dude
I went to Pittsburgh SX in 25. The same tickets for 27 have increased almost 70%. I will not be going. The greed train is at full steam.
BTW, any chance the purse money has increased by 70% for the riders in the past year? At least when concert tickets are expensive the talent is the primary beneficiary. The same can't be said for our sport. In fact I'd be willing to bet rider entry fees have increased, by percentage, faster than purse money has. No evidence here, just a guess.
strange yours went up 70%, i paid less for my tickets this time for pitt than 2 years ago sitting in same level i did last time
Pit Row
I'd say you got ripped off last time then. I'm just going straight from ticketmaster pricing. Exactly the way I purchased them last time. So it's not 'strange' my price went up, it's fact.
I have sweet FA interest in local, OZ SX, but thought I might go up to the Newcastle SX, to see some friends, and, on Sunday, go to an Art Gallery that's got something I'm interested in . Not drive up, but take the train, as it's a pretty scenic trip. Stay the Saturday night.
Ticket in a section I thought looked good - $69 each, Fair enough.
Thought to look at tickets in a suite, for ' She Who Must Be Obeyed's ' comfort.
$469, each. Nope, it's out in the breeze, if we go.
Wouldn't mind getting back to the US for the first few SX rounds, one year, or East Coast ones - or, even, Much more preferably, a few East / Northern Outdoors rounds, but $$$$$$.
My point is that I don't think Feld is being unreasonable.
bought direct from ticketmaster last race and this one. was $145/ticket 2 years ago and i paid $109/ticket this time
There's a reason why we call it TicketBastard
I have lost any desire to go the SX/MX. The noise, the dirtiness, and above all - people.
The older I get, the more I don't want to be around crowds. I thought I wouldn't get this way this quick, I'm only 31.
The only thing I miss are the pits. Good thing we have Pit Bits (for now).
Why is the service fee $20?
Only because they think $21 might kill the deal and you stay home and peacock.
Id rather watch and experience a race in person because I can see everything on track pretty much, and there's nothing like a race in person.
They've developed the ultimate fuck the customer tool. They also track you by login and will adjust price according to your zip code and past online purchases with their algorithm.
Dynamic Pricing: Ticketmaster utilizes demand-based pricing models that adjust ticket prices in real time as inventory shrinks and buyer interest rises,
capturing revenue that would otherwise go to secondary resellers.
Deceptive "Bait-and-Switch" Pricing: Ticketmaster and Live Nation were accused of advertising artificially low base ticket prices while hiding mandatory service, processing, and facility fees until the final checkout screen.
Collusion with Ticket Brokers: The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and state attorneys general alleged that Ticketmaster publicly claimed to enforce strict ticket-purchase limits per fan while privately working with high-volume scalpers and brokers.
Secondary Market Profiteering:
I would still go to A1 either way. I'd have to say that I've been to at least 30 of them, if not more, and have always bought our tickets at the stadium box office during the week.
Other than that, it's Peacock and Round Table Pizza for me.
The best part about seeing SX in person is that only you determine what you watch and pay attention to, whereas watching television, your attention is focused for you.
Exactly
I can definitely understand wanting to experience the races in person. I'm sure I haven't been to my last race in person, I'm just a little more discerning with my cash these days.
