WHO are these “multiple sources”?

Anyone credible?

If there are multiple of them, we must be able to track them down and get it on record.

Did Chase say it was the bike? Did Kawi say it was the bike?

That’s a ridiculous viewpoint.  Let’s say you are Chase and, hypothetically, it’s just a poor decision you’ve made, nothing to do with the team or the bike.  Do you sit and suffer the consequences for two more years, or do you try everything in your power to rectify the situation?

In reality, both parties have recent history of problems that are highly likely to be contributing to the problem.

Chase is fortunate that Prado trod this path first.  Without that precedent I feel that Chase isn’t the guy to force the situation the way Prado did.

Being a Chase fan has been miserable lately, but being on Vital has been miserabler lately…

They gave Dewolf and Farres HUGE offers but both said no. They went with two 250 guys and one 450 guy instead.

Lewis Phillips and ML both said it was on their vital review show that week if I am not mistaken.

Don't need hypotheticals here when we have so much documented history and poor results to work from. Just need to connect the dots, and IMO you're completely misreading this situation for some reason. Has nothing to do with Prado whatsoever. Chase's struggles are largely self-inflicted, and things aren't helped by his father reportedly being the go-between contact for communication and negotiations with the team(s) all along.  When things aren't working the solution seems to always be looking for a fresh start without admitting any of the problems are coming from their side. The 1st step is admitting you are part of the problem. Definition of insanity is repeating same mistakes and expecting different results. You only get so many do-overs and fresh starts in any given situation in life, and it looks to me like Chase has already used his up. His post injury status is still unresolved = damaged goods until proven otherwise- and no obvious interest by other manufacturers to eagerly sign this guy if he suddenly becomes available under current circumstances. Entirely possible he'll find no takers at all leaving 1 clear path.

Stay with Kawasaki and honor your contract and ride the damn new bike like your career depends on it. That's 2 guaranteed years of compensation and best chance to rehabilitate his body and image, and marketability. Results will speak for themselves, and no amount of speculation or wishful thinking will change that.

Marchbanks also didn't deny it when asked and said he wasn't going to talk about it. Doesn't matter though, no amount of evidence is going to get some people to change their mind about anything. Kawi president could say it was sputtering and then it would just be that he's lying to cover for the rider, or something....

Look it, all you have to do is ignore the multi time mxgp champ who hated the bike so much he tried not to qualify so he'd get fired who has returned to winning as soon as he got off the bike, and also ignore the guy who's won 450 titles on two other brands who also hates the bike, and you can see the bike is not the problem. Just be logical about this.

take your blinders off and take your own advice here. Prado and Chase were in 2 entirely different situations. Prado was looking to come to USA to compete for championships after accomplishing everything he could with championships in Europe. Chase was only running away from another failed experience and looking for another "Fresh" start while not even having the class to communicate anything about leaving the last like most riders thanking the team for the opportunity. Both guys thought Kawi offered a fitting opportunity for their goals. Did Prado publicly state he HATED the bike? Some guys are not comfortable on AL frames and prefer flex of Steel. If I'm not mistaken Prados previous success came on a steel framed bike and Kawi is Aluminum? They did try multiple things to make the bike work for him but didn't get there. Could be as simple as the change in frames was never comfortable for him and both sides realized it and settled on ending his contract. He had sour attitude for sure. Going back to where he was before the Kawi move seems to have worked out really well. Lucky he got that do-over.

Chase is still just chasing and there's no recent previous home where he was dominant for him to try to go back to. Same old same old with him insisting on rear end setup that just isn't going to work on the OLD Kawi chassis. He had a sour attitude too. and HE'S INJURED until proven otherwise. The opportunity is there for the taking for him to rehab his body and reputation on a NEW bike by just staying where he's at and putting in the work. It can't be any more obvious than that.

Sexton's knee was more damaged that originally thought and operation more "complicated".  Apologies for not imbedding and use of link.

which of the 2 previous brands where Chase won a 450 title has an open seat for this season and where both sides parted on good terms?

Yep. But what is the problem with Kawi mgmt? They just won’t get the parts? I will say that DeCoster said he didn’t know what Chase wanted regarding the bike.

it was also reported Chase insisted on rear shock settings beyond what the shock was designed for that caused some problems

What about the 3 GP rider who say it’s a flawed chassis? That 5 riders who all think the bike is flawed. We can also talk about how Anderson went from winning races on the old chassis, to struggling on the new?
But that could be because Kawasaki refused to let Anderson change his shock.

irrelevant now. In case you didn't know the 2027 is brand new with a redesigned frame supposedly using a lot of rider inputs. I guess it's wait and see mode how different it is after ride reports come out. For all we know the new 327 might use same chassis that would give clues to follow?

ML reported that several pit personnel from other teams, including a team manager or crew chief approached him and said Chases bike had been sputtering/cutting out. It was also reported that as Chase rode thru the pit area his bike Stalled on him.
