Sounds like Julius Mikula and Ricardo Bauer to ss24. Also Kawsaki running Jonass only on the 450.

Thats a surprise Osicka have a good budget (bought a fishbowl) and SS24 are frugal by comparison( not saying that is a bad thing).

But it underlines the path that SS24 is playing as Factory Juniors.  Will hopefully catch up with Shaun over the weekend and see what the news is.

Honestly that seems weird. I would assume that if the HRC thing doesn't happen and Simon stays in MX2 Mikula would stay in known enviroment with Osička with current support rather than change KTM teams for the sake of changing teams. He got small private compound at his place that seems to work out for him. I don't see him racing MXGB instead of pounding laps there but he is friend with Ricardo Bauer so who knows...

Oliver did not race at Blaxhall today, i spoke with Shaun Simpson, he said that since his Foxhill crash, Oliver has been struggling and has not been on a bike regularly, and with the MXGP tail end being all fly aways, it was difficult to get him back to where he needed to be. It would have been a lot of money and effort  , and the team decided that it wasnt a good call, based on their assessment of it.

I didnt push on what the plans for next year were, aside of the fact that they will be back as the KTM Factory Juniors team.

I'm not buying that. Okay, if he sat out the GP's due to (alleged) health issues and mostly the costs, I could understand. But the final round of the British Championship, racing for a British team while you were 2nd in the standings? Nah, there must be more to it.

It was mentioned here that he’s been caught doing PED’s, no idea if that holds any water. Whatever the issue, it’s bound to come out at some point.

I see on the socials that Doeyson & SS24 have parted ways.

First I've read about that. Interesting if true. But as you say, it'll come out if it is true...

So it sounds like Watson is changing teams, focus will be on the British championship and he will do a handful of European GPs + some US nationals (source, one of the Vital MXoN videos).

The positive is that he has a chance of making an impact in America and he might get a full-time gig there like Guillod got. But overall this just confirms my belief that once you go from a full-time GP rider to a part time (Euro rounds only) you will most likely never get back to a full time ride again.

He should've stayed with Beta as a full time rider.

I dont know @Motofinne, he is a professional rider so i think what he should do is look for the combination of best financial opportunity + a decent enjoyment from the work you do. I can imagine doing Brits for a British team suits him better then riding for an italian ''factory'' team that isnt solving that bike to begin with

So the team best placed to do that in the British is the SC Sporthomes Team , who have a US base, and history in the AMA over the past few seasons, although they didnt do any this year , i am guessing as they didnt want to risk Heyman getting hurt.

A headline 450 rider would be good for them.

Which factory team is finally going to sign Pancar? Or is he better off with his own programme? Talking about punching above your weight, he’s the perfect example. In the US, being solid top 5-10 with handful of moto podiums would definitely generate interesting conversations.

The thing is Pancar is not solid top 5 top 10. If you take away the last 3 fly-aways (where we only had like 14 riders) he did 26 sunday motos and had 5 top 10 finishes in those 26 motos, with a best finish of 7th. I can see why a factory team isnt going to offer a big salary for those results, especially seeing how similar riders also dont have a ride.

Add to this that i'm under the impression Pancar gets some nice support from Slovakia (both from companies as well as the government/olympic association). And he must have good support from KTM as well since he is often seen as one of the first to race future models at GPs.

Pancar is from Slovenia.
I don't know his private deals, but I wouldn't be too confident in the support of the government or the national moto association in our country. They do far too little for motocross at the national level.

After what we saw in Ernée, it would be logical for Seewer to run the National Outdoor Championship (250cc) in 2027.

It's a shame seewer can't just race mx2 in europe.......the mx2 class would be zo much better without that age limit

Skovbjerg confirmed for Beddini Ducati MX2. Great move for him.

What kind of financial backing does Beddini have? Their infrastructure looks impressive

Great for Skovbjerg, very much deserved. I hope Ducati can make a step forward because their bike has been a shit box in the 250F class. I believe the Beddini family has a bakery and besides that Cairoli is very much involved and I can imagine the budget available from Ducati must be good.

I dunno if this as been mentioned but Kevin Horgmo is out of Honda SR Motobulze. Nothing confirmed for next year.

Honda SR will be Vlaanderen and Geerts for 2027.

Well at least that explains where the dough comes from.
