Well....Americans's podium chances just got divebombed.

That Kitchen crash hurts us badly 

Come on... It's a tricky track. Top 4 teams all have had a rider crash 

Fuck that sucks for Kitchen, really good ride going on. 

Talvikus ride is incredible, and he has been good ever since he got the fill in ride at Fantic. 

Pancar is such an underrated rider. I'd love to see him do the Guillod/Tondel schedule next season and give the nationals a go. Could make a real name for himself

So many of these corners the outside and inside rut meet at the exit. There is a crossover

He’s got a habit. Dislike my pointing it out but he does. 

Karlis being 15th is probably on par, but Janis being so far off is a big problem for Latvia if they are aiming for a podium finish.

Spain in the driving seat. Understated ride from Farres there — didn’t have the best start, but went past Levi, Camden and a bunch of 450s to get 4th.

They still need at least 1 good showing from Garcia, especially if Valin really is capable of lining up for race 2. Vialle should comfortably finish top 5

Man those first laps were frantic, didn’t know where to look!

It's just race one. Everybody gets a throw out. Beaumer's 10th is decent.

Kitchen was very impressive until the crash. Camden McLellan is no slouch. Not easy to be all over riders like that in a format etc they're far more comfortable with.

Romain of course a machine as always. I hope Valin's OK, the pressure must be immense.

Spain seems hard to beat now. Garcia rode great yesterday. They are favorite yet.

I was thinking with Kitchen's ride showing that speed and staying upright that his SMX title might have given him the confidence/mental fortitude he needed to become more consistent and get more championships in the future, and not long after he threw it away. 

Nice and Solid by the Aussies to be sitting 4th after the opener. 

Expected Janis Reisulis to do better than that to be honest. 

If Valin can put in a decent ride next race France can still win this, you could make a case for Febvre and Vialle being the 2nd and 3rd fastest riders at this event in either order

They had an outside shot at a podium but not if Janis rides like that, I was expecting him to be mixing it with Valin, Farres, McLellan, Kitchen, Coenen
