laps in 12 out of 15 laps. He could of passed him, but he made the decision not too for whatever reason. I'm guessing
that some of those in attendance could put 2 and 2 together and know that the only way you can catch up with someone
is to by going faster.
James lap times are right next to each other. If I'm wrong I will certainly admit it, but I don't like to be wrong so I usually
research something to refute what someone else states. Kongols you are vehement fan of James and I know you will
have more good weeks in the future, he's amazing when he stay up.
Pit Row
Just watched the race again... RV was clearly just following James around, not pushing it, and was only a couple bike lengths behind on the last lap before slowing to throw a couple whips.
Someone already mentioned this but if I was in Bubba's shoes I would have let him lap me to avoul another lap, Stewart had already proved himself by that point.
Example: You get the lapper flag because the leader is right behind you. You turn around and see James Stewart. Assuming he's the leader is a safe assumption. So they make room for him to get by, but in reality the leader was a few seconds back. This was especially noticeable with Mike Alessi. Stewart probably would have gotten by those guys anyway, but that certainly made it easier. Another thing that helped Stewart was a lot of top guys crashed in front of him too. That's just how Daytona is. The hop over the wall (which was awesome) was what separated him and Villopoto. Other than that they were pretty even. Nice ride to get to 9th and keep his championship hopes alive.
