Damn what a comeback. Best I've seen in this sport.

Chase, get off that green turd bro.

Imagine walking away from a multi million dollar contract, switching teams for next to no pay and ending up making a million bucks plus bonus in a single month. Sometimes betting on yourself works out

He was limping pretty badly on the post race show, and put ice on his wrist. Hopefully those are just minor stingers and not something more serious.

True. KTM is historically bad at getting all new models dialed in the first year and Prado is a fussy mofo. He had a horrendous time in MXGP setting up the current frame.

Not a Prado fan here. I can't stand him blaming the bike, and other racers, and the track, and anything else but himself.

But I am a fan of his consistent improvement and results. Good to see.

I’m not ready to go that far yet, but I will say that with Farres winning the 250 championship today, Prado really coming on, and Fernandez riding well, Spain has to be the favorite for des Nations.

Spain won this SMX event, the MX2 title and the WMX title with Daniela Guillen all within 24h. Not a bad weekend for Spanish MX

Fernández out for MXon (injury), replaced by Francisco García

Garcia just won the EMX 250 title convincingly. Also did Southwick a few months back and got 8th overall.
I think he’s more than capable of getting the one decent score needed if Farres and Prado perform to their potential.

Came in with the red plate - lead most of the laps of moto 1 - fought his way back after crashing in moto 2 to 2nd place to win the overall - left with the red plate

Prado makes the sport look good. His european origins and pro-level presence helps dispel the misguided and harmful NASCAR comparisons that started around the mid 2000’s and makes the sport seem more aligned (if we must choose a racing comparison) to Formula One, or even professional golf. That is the right direction.

He blames the bike or anything else when its motivated. Equal amount of times on the KTM this year he has taken the blame on himself in interviews.

It's pretty clear if you follow the sport and listen to the interviews.

It's also not the sugar coated shit talk you are used to from US riders.

Ferrandis, Prado, Roczen and you will hear Conen is the same. They call it like it is. Not "we had a bad day and we have some work to do" that is all you get from for example Tomac.

He has a bit to go still. Jett, Hunter, possibly Roczen if racing. Deegs will be there for all rounds.

He is just a tick off on race speed from Hunter and Jett. Lap times are there. But Hunter pulled pretty easy 14 sec gap.

Huh? I was talking about Spain's chances at Motocross des Nations...

Has nothing to do with being euro or American. Has everything to do with personality. Don't know what you're talking about aees. They're all different and individuals. Sounds like you're talking out your aees.

Just think Jorge is just one race away from being the SMX Champion! I'm sure this title will mean more than all his MXGP titles. Damn, SMX WORLD Champion. LoL

I giggled...  Honestly, he wants the check.  But I can assure everyone that this isn't the "title" he really wants.

But if the new bike isn't a mess, he's setting himself up to absolutely be in the title hunt next year, both indoors and outdoors.
