I’ve considered trying a 450, or a KX327, but I do really like my 350.

How did those 23.5 clamps treat you. I got my '23 pretty dialed but improvements can still always be made. I have a Luxon rear link...

The bike felt more planted, stable, and soft. Many mods I struggle to feel a meaningful difference, these are easy to feel.

Fixed my post. I have a '23

Honestly from what I've seen, guys just like saying they ride a 450.  Can be vet guys or whatever that hit the trails a few times a year, but they view riding anything smaller as lesser than.   Which is fine because its still bike sales, they have it for a few years before the wife says sell it and a low hour 450 is up for sale.

I disagree, it has to do with a lugger vs revver. If you're a lugger, the anemic bottom end of the 250f doesn't cut it.

I ride a 450 in 3rd on up bc thats how they're most stable, but its boring. So ride the slower bike fast and swallow your pride but enjoy more laps.

I ride natural deep  sand tracks. I’m not racing just riding for fun but big hills and natural deep sand whoops burns etc.

Love my 25 FC350. Better than my 21,22, and 23 MC350. Best bike for most vet guys imo.

I haven’t ridden a 350 in sand, but I did a test ride on a 2018 450 Yamaha, and it was easier to ride on a sand moto track than any 250f or 125/250 2t I have ridden in sand unless there are a lot of tight corners (woods riding tight corners not moto tight corners).

I was looking for test videos on the 26 350sxf, YouTube only shows tests on the 25?  Am I an idiot or did no one test the 26?

The 27 has a choked down muffler, so keep your 23-26 slip on, it fits… the 27 air filter cage and filter are different to aid in sound reduction….the 23-26 two stroke cage & filters fit ….FYI…

go on you tube and watch any 350 vs 450 video and be shocked at the lap time difference, and then be shocked again when the guy that just went significantly faster on the 350 say he is going to stick with his 450 because he just thinks he is a “450 guy” 🤦‍♂️

yep almost every rider is faster on a 350 . I look at the new Honda 450 and want one . then I reide my 25 350 and realize it's really  the perfect bike for me 61 years old and do ok

I constantly think I want another 450 but then everytime I ride my 350 I'm reminded otherwise. Think I need to just have a 450 in the shed so everytime i ride it, it can remind me I don't need one ha ha. I actually went the other way and picked up a new 250f, that might actually be even more fun than the 350 on hardpack tracks.

Get the 350. Usable torque and not too much like a 450 and handle much better on decel

Yes, it is a massive improvement over the air fork. Atleast for me it is. Front end feels planted and I can actually feel the front tire.

I personally didn’t have any issues with front end feel on the air fork. Maybe if you are riding on hard pack, dry-slippery tracks, I could agree the air fork isn’t as good, but its just as good or even better on soft loamy or sand tracks.

The 6500 is a nice bit of kit, but the biggest advantage of a 6500 (or similar spring conversion) is you don’t have to worry about checking and adjusting air pressure.

Basically, a well set up 6500 can work just as good as a well setup air fork. It probably comes down to your budget, your willingness to monitor your air pressure throughout the day, and what your preferred suspension tuner likes, knows how to work with and has good settings for.

I just picked up a 27 a month ago….this is my 4th 350…love these bikes….I ride all kinds of different bikes, Vintage/Evo, 125”s, 150”s, 300”s….love them all…but…. The 350 is a bike I can jump on and within a few laps feel right at home…perfect blend of power and handling……they have much improved low end vs the earlier models but still make serious power when rev”d to the moon….all my bikes have been reliable as a rock….the tracks you ride also play a part in what bike is best….most of my local tracks are a bit tighter, technical tracks, the 450”s feel like tanks….7-8 years ago I rode a 350…..never looked back…sold my 450 2 weeks later…59 ..190lbs…Vet/ SR A rider….

What model years were the four 350s that you owned? I have a 2022 and I'm curious about progression/development over the past few years. We all know about the stiffer frames in 2023. So going from 22'->23' doesn't seem like hands down a huge gain. But how did things progress after that? When was the biggest improvement made in the last 4-5 years of the 350?
