There is no moto media. There is a propaganda arm that Feld allows to exist. ML explained it without saying it when he made that thread about Feld "tightening up the credentials for media" back when SX started. It's probably searchable.
I'm thinking he's fine and just said fuck it regarding the 2nd moto...He's had a rough couple of weeks where he should have been the intimidator and not the one that was intimidated....

Considering he was a contender as of Moto 1. And his missing Moto 2 nearly dropped him from 2nd to 4th in the championship (3rd due count back if I have it right)

Mitch probably parked him, he just could handle anymore . Think about it he hired Hondas chief engineer to get some power because the bike was slow. Pays the engineer a crap ton . Then his rider wants to race his race & not max points . Team has to be tired of his laying on the ground after races & running to pour the correct temperature water on him. Reminded me of the Euro riders acting like there dying from the 80 degree heat. Lol While he paid a crap ton of money .

It's Tuesday and I still haven't seen anything. What's the difference in bonus between a 2nd and 3rd or 4th in the championship? Seems wild to just sit it out. I've raced with broken ribs, fractured knee cap and all manner of things just to get a bit of shiny plastic in amateur events.
JT said on his podcast that Kitchen is fine and all in on SMX and MXoN. Said he was just mentally over it after moto 1. Make of that what you will…

How anyone considers him for a big dollar contract in the future when he’s just “over it” is unbelievable. Personally would only offer him incentive based contract if I was a team manager, if I would miss out on his services because of that, oh well…

They say he’s a good 450 rider , so I don’t think it makes a difference. He’ll still get a 450 rider. You hv to be pretty burnt out to do what he did. I can see the media draining you after time with all the stupid questions & comments . But the racing I don’t know how you can be tired of that .
I just want to see Levi crush it in SMX, get that confidence back, and ride his butt off in France. He has a ton of speed, if he can just get a halfway decent start, I think he can ride with the top 250 Euro guys on a hard pack track like Ernee.
Hopefully Levi won’t have that attitude if he has a bad moto at the nations.
Just so I understand, that is JT's speculation or facts he found out? What did you hear? If true, that is too bad, Kitchen is paid to race. Marchbanks wants to race of Nations desperately, maybe the only chance he might get in his career, and Kawasaki says no. Meanwhile Kawasaki pays Kitchen to complete this finale and he won't race? Unreal.
Come on Levi, champions (or potential champions) don't quit.
As I've said in other threads...Levi doesn't have the mental strength of a champion....maybe this will help get him there...
