Astonishingly great grammar sir for someone with one hand elbow deep in a jar of glue.

Thank you, sir!

So I guess Prado is trash then? I remember Deegs beating him most of the outdoors this year as a rookie.

The hatred people have for HD38 is mind boggling. People are pissed he’s not going, people are mad that Star won’t send bikes (when they’re sending bikes to multiple WSX events), people think he’d get lapped anyway. Get over it people. He got offered wheelbarrows full of money to race WSX and doesn’t want to ride MXON.  The Lawrence’s aren’t going and don’t hear people getting so mad that they can’t sleep at night over it.

To be fair... for Lawrences it is first time in a long time and also they announced it pretty far ahead that they will skip this one for medical reasons.

I see it as if your employee announced his holidays month before written in email to you or if at 10 pm day before you recieve text that the employee is not coming due to snagging a broad with nice chest at a pub... buuuut if you get your double Ds done by 7:00 am he might reconsider and show up. Anyway good luck. He also loves your company and its branding. Type shit.

WSX pays the teams for sending bikes for whatever that is worth.

I’ll give value to the fact that #38 is flying to England the very next week. So the cost of flights for himself and crew should be negated from the cost to go to MXdN. He could turn it into a mini vacation that week, but I’m sure his camps argument would be that he needs to come home and ride SX tracks that week before the big event. Which if that were the case he could leave them abroad and fly back alone for his personal training sessions.

Honestly love it when people aren’t afraid to drop their opinion like this. Paul P, Zacho, etc absolutely not holding anything back. Love it.

I concur!  I love it when guys speak their minds.  But unless they say, XYZ told me this is what’s going on, it is just their opinion.  It’s important we remember that.

Prado would be ahead of deegan in points if he didn’t have his DNF. I think we can all agree Prado has showed more top speed than deegan.

Also, I think they are skipping all off season races, not going to WSX races the week after MXON

Random thought/Question...

Average NBA salary is $10-12m per year (google said so). Number of Games in an NBA season is 82 (google also said so)...and I would guess most players aren't able to play in all the games.

So when the Olympics come around and an NBA player declines the offer to represent Team USA, are they hated as well? A POS? It's just 1 event (with weeks of lead time in preparation, travel, etc).

Deegan is a successful grown ass man who has a 10yr (on average) window to max out a career...4 of which are basically complete.

Why the hate if he chooses to be selective with his racing time? What if he donates time/energy/money to foundations/kids/families in need instead? Is he still an overall POS? Or is he just a POS because he doesn't want to race an event that may not mean much to him.

Ever got called into work on a Saturday because "the team needs you" and you decline to protect your peace and use the weekend to do things that make you happy (or rest/relaxation)? How did it feel knowing you had the option of putting yourself first? Probably pretty good with a hint of guilt...but the good outweighed the bad.

Having said all that... I hope Hunter wins by 30 seconds each moto and parties like a rock star.

....incoming fire in 3......2...........1.........

Hey Brian, don't you need your lips puffed up?

This particular argument from Brian's PR bitches is so tired. Just in case you don't understand: The difference is the Lawrences have represented Australia numerous times at the MXDN and have won it for Australia the last two years. Thus, they have proved their patriotism. Donger has draped himself in the flag and yet not gone every year he's been invited - which is four times. Oh, also the Lawrences haven't demanded money to go, nor have they told HRC to demand 25k for each bike from their federation.

In short, there is no comparison between the two situations.

Haiden Deegan is an incredibly talented racer who could definitely podium at Ernee if he brought his A game. It’s just unfortunate that he has the personality of a self-centered butthead.

It was refreshing to head Paul speak his mind like that. The only part i disagree with was the comments that Infront should give money under the table to AMA so that they participate or just stay home.

Infront should have a proper purse and the winner gets the largest sum. No start money for any team. And USA could stay home but nothing would change like Steve mentioned.

We've got 1 American between both classes that runs up front every weekend. We've got 2 250 guys that could podium if the stars aligned but most likely bad start or fall or both and get 20th. No other 450 team mate.

I can see deegans point of view. It's like the group project where 1 person does all the work.

Steve pointed out that Doucheboy is going to the UK a week later for WSX. He also said that Star never had a problem going to the MXdN without asking for money until the last few years.

Wonder what changed at Star?

Did you read your own post?

Nothing has changed at Star.

They are just trying to cover for Deegandashian. If he would go they would provide the support. It’s that simple.

For being false Christians, false patriots and a greedy family, what else do you expect of the Deegans?

It's a good job nobody else thinks like that. Especially the guys from tiny countries that might not even qualify for the main races, who fly to the race with bike parts in their luggage so they can race on a borrowed bike. Just because they're proud to represent their country.

Paul definitely didn’t hold back.  If Star was a Renthal team would he have been as critical?

I doubt it.

at any rate I can almost guarantee Deegan doesn’t race Assen. His excuse next year will be ‘I spent a year learning the 450, I need a break’.

The biggest takeaway I got from that which nobody is talking about is what Zach said...He got $2500 for his expenses from the AMA and he spent $25k of his own money.....that is a huge red flag full on failure of the AMA and those in charge of Team USA....there is no way a rider should have to spend $25K. The AMA, the industry and the manufacturers need to either make changes to raising money so no rider has to come out of pocket to go...This team is a complete failure and I would rather we just stop going than go through this every fucking year since 2014. I would like to know how much other riders from other countries are paying out of pocket for this race...my guess would be close to zero...The AMA only gave Zacho $2500...Seriously WTF?

While $2500 is low for one riders expenses, you're casually omitting that the bulk of that 25k went to bringing his family over for a working vacation. No entity should be covering a riders expenses other than getting them to the event, lodging for the event, and equipment costs. Wanna take your whole family and some friends, that's on you.

25k sounds a little high, did he get helicoptered around France ?  A ship would cost 500-700 , door to door 1,500-4k according to Google .

This right here. The AMA has no obligation to fly your parents, your sister, and your man friends to Europe on a private jet.

Do you know that for a fact? He didn't say it was for his family....regardless no rider should have to come out of pocket and  $2500 is a pittance and insulting to a professional athlete. it's a complete failure of the AMA et al... how many in the AMA entourage need to go to this race? Time to cut the fat...but if you're ok with the current system that has been failing for years to put together the best team then I guess we can expect this same shit every year....the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expect a different result.....somethings gotta change is all I'm saying because the way we are doing it isn't working...I'd rather we not go than to go through the exact same shit every year...
