What a bunch of turds. And all for that cretin Donger and his dad Lips...

Disgraceful.

Wild watching people crap on Deegan while the Lawerence’s backed out weeks ago and no one said a peep. No one should be mad at the riders when the promoter is making all the money and forcing riders to pay their own way. The juice isn’t worth the squeeze anymore and if MXoN wants a good race they should pay.

Never select Deegan again, he always finds a way out. Let’s pick riders who want to go.

Agreed. He should never be selected. He's shown absolutely no patriotism. He thinks of nothing but himself. Just like Lips.

I do wonder why Jett and Hunter don't skip the 3 rounds of SMX to get rest for the team and themselves. That's what they stated the problem was. Then they would be rested enough to race the MXDN and proudly represent their country. I'll need to spend some time pondering that one.

The current configuration for the MXDN is not tenable long term. What other professional event or show is currently run, on the scale that MXDN is, where the promotor (MXGP ran by luongo) does not have to pay the riders (performers) or the factories that support the event? Why does MXGP get to keep all of the funds? This is beyond ridiculous for MXGP to expect this to continue. I would expect that there will be much more pushback against MXGP to the point that teams will just stop supporting or attending the event due to the absurd expectations of MXGP. There needs to be a reset before the event just dies. It should not cost the teams or riders ANYTHING (within reason) to race this event. With all that being said can we get back to the endless bashing of Deegan?

Okay Brian. Go pump your face up...

Congratulations, Bobby.

You just made yourself to look like a clown just to cover for little Doucheboy because nobody else would pay him to go.

Or, he never wanted to go anyway and needed an excuse. Again.

Bedbugs have a new take on motocross as of today.

"MXDN is a nothing race, why do we even worry about who goes. It's a waste of time and money"

What is this the 3rd or 4th time DuBoy has done what he can to weasel out of representing the country he waives that flag for.

Just another way in which Brian Deegan has polluted our sport. 'Growing the sport? Just bringing in a bunch of no nothing bedbugs who have no understanding of anything except deepthroating Donger...

Lachlan Turner would take Deegans spot.

So when GP riders want to race against AMA riders, they get their manufacturer to contact US teams to get help organising a bike ie; like the Coenens? Or Herlings? Or Van De Mosdyk and so on, and on? Great - that proves it can be done.

So what's stopping Dodgerboy from talking to Yamaha Europe.? The bike would be set-up ready for FIM regs and would be ready to go; it'd probably be easier than taking a Star bike.

Insufferable Deegan apologist.

They're contracted to race SMX and that is a series title that matters to their employer.   It's not that hard to think that through.

He can talk about America all he wants, and he can wave the American flag all he wants. There is nothing hypocritical about that at all, and it isn't your place to tell him what he can and can't do.  @mooch was already proved wrong on that point, and this may come as a surprise to many here, but racing a single one-off race a year does not in any way prove or disprove one's patriotism or love for their country.  If you and mooch and all the other Deegan haters are so patriotic, then you should respect Haiden's freedom to wave the American flag and his free speech to say what he likes.
But you don't.  You want him to shut up and not wave that flag.  So let's be real; Deegan is getting shit on for not going, but he'd get shit on for going as well.  Plenty here have already said beforehand he doesn't deserve to go.  If he did go and didn't win, half of you would shit on him for not winning and laugh at him for getting beat, so despite what you say, every week when Haiden is trying to beat those Hunter brothers, he is trying to put an American on the top spot.

Get out of here with that. It’s 💯 hypocritical and you know it

This sport is largely funded off of Monster Energy & Redbull. Pull 1 of those 2 from the sport to "boycott" them, we may not have a sport to watch and enjoy.

While I'm disappointed, I'm not surprised. Deegan is the complete opposite of representation from what our country needs.

Why is everyone making this about deegan? His team wont send bikes ,they do enough for the sport financially.

The American/AMA based guys do race too much - I don't think that's an untrue statement.

A guy like Jeffrey can race the Dutch and British champs if he wants to or doesn't want to, it's almost like training in comparison, but regardless it's usually his choice (at least for a rider of Jeffrey's level). This play-off crap should never have become a thing. 16 rds of SX, 12 of MX, then MXDN (for the guys selected). That's enough. The Lawrences also aren't interested. I'm not especially a fan of Haiden but the schedule being what it is only encourages dipping out for the guys that aren't bothered to begin with.

SMX pays $1,000,000 to the champ, plus another $100,000 per race win. $500,000 to second place, so likely the Lawrence family looks to earn $1.5 - $2 million in purse alone for those three races. That doesn't count manufacturer and other win/podium bonuses. You think they should forego that payout to rest up for a FIM team race? Would you?

I would expect they do but if Honda wants what's best for the team and to come out swinging in 2027 they really should cut the 3 SMX races and just attend MXDN. Seems reasonable, everyone at Honda gets the needed rest only needing to run one race rather than 3. Looks like the obvious solution, I do wonder why both Hunter and Jet are not pushing for this. I believe Honda would be supportive, Honda doesn't want their riders to be burnt out and angry for having to attend the 3 additional SMX rounds. It does give their star riders the rest they have stated they need. I'm sure Jett and Hunter will be announcing this shortly.

I would have had more respect for "I need to train for my rookie year in 450SX" rather than hind behind a STAR excuse.

Hell even famously anti-MXdN Kawasaki said they'd fund Mitch's rider (presumed Kitchen) if they were selected. So wazzup STAR!

On an AMA note, I wish they would actually select Deegan and have him actively decline because STAR won't support the race. Political suicide, but it would send a message to the teams and rider.
