And the other only race outside the podium he got penalized a full lap which led to him scoring zero points in a moto. It is kinda wild. Hunters stats are also insane though, he was never outside the top 5th in 450 MX except for last weekend.

I can see it being that and the mindset too. Going from an underdog team, you have the desire to prove you can be better than the factory teams, and if you fail, oh well, you showed some good speed for a little bit and got eyes on yourself and the program. Switch to the factory bike, now there's expectations. A whole ass crew riding on your result, and you BETTER do better than your old bike, no excuses now!

My memory failed me. He only has 1 top 10 moto, a 9th at Southwick on the factory bike. I guess I was thinking of both motos at Red Bud, he was killing it but DNFd both motos. Then I think High Point he was well inside the top 10 battling when he crashed hard. It does feel like he was more relevant speed wise on the ISRT bike to me still.
It's also his worst season in terms of riding and he's in the title fight.
Track conditions for the last moto were perfect compared to practice this morning.
Dude it was dumping the 2nd qualifying session. I mean DUMPING. So nuts how the day turned out. I was soaking wet and then it got so hot, all my clothes dried out lol

Blocked all 3 of them first time I've had to do that since joining up in 2008.
The 4 inside gates are basically useless unless you get a fantastic jump on everyone, or take the high road. 😂

Prado - 2kd OA is a great result for him.. had fastest lap... he's got the speed to win, but has he reached his ceiling? Is he gonna just be a supercross guy???
Cringe lord - he just isn't there and he may never get there, no matter what he posts on the gram... a lot of people, in fact most, hit their speed ceiling after entering the 450s... staying up is a great thing, but if he ever wants to win, he's gotta push even more and have a few spills here and there.. would you rather be a 3rd place guy every year or win while missing some racing here and there??
Jett - if Jett pulls this off at 80 percent it will further cement him as an all time great..
Et3 - headtrip tomac isn't anything new.... but now instead of going 2-6 on a headtrip day, he goes 4-13 for 9th OA... to me, it's ruining his legacy.... but I guess he needs the cash that badly...

Why did Prado follow him right into the outside rut? So many of these pros make bad decisions when approaching slower riders. Dont follow.

Jett played it right. He got Hunter his points back, now he can even win a moto if he wants, but I’ll bet he’ll do everything to make sure H wins it.
