Did they not do any laps around the track at LL?  That's an odd decision.  If it's there and ready to be started everyday, why not have RV or someone rip a lap or two?

I wonder if its because they dont want any kind of failure infront of anyone.  I dont belive that would happen but man that would suck.

Or maybe it was a unit that was already ordered by somebody and now it's got sticky corn dog fingerprints all over it.

If the 327 is a great success (which it will be), I wonder what new 2-stroke bike will spin off from it - 250? 125?

Yep you can bust yer ass on electric also. Medical insurance will ask ''where and how did you injure yourself?''

And then you say “I fell on my bike at a park”, that’s all they need to know.

Lots of people prefer the 250sx/xc over the 300 because of they different power deliveries.  Im sure the 250 is on the way.

No doubt, unless you have to take an ambulance ride, then it becomes more of a problem.

A 2 stroke can be made quite a bit quieter, without loosing as much power as well.  If you took a 2 stroke and 4 stroke, made them both as quiet as an average car on the road, the 2 stroke would still feel pretty good.   4 stroke would feel like a dog.

My first gen KTM 500 EXC with original stock muffler with perforated end-cap says otherwise. It's not exactly quiet but much less harsh to be around. It makes way more power than I'll ever use off road.

True. I still believe nothing can match the feeling of a YZ, CR, RM or carbed SX 250 2 stroke. Unless you want a 4t character, I am not really into FI. Still, that kawi looks GOOD and I would buy one if I wanted FI.

So few people know how to mess with a carb nowadays.

If Kawi sees success with the 327x, can we expect a 150ish-2T for the smaller displacement class?

People will complain it's not fast because of FI.

It would not surprise me if there are other models in the next few years.

What other displacement would make sense and have a great impact like 327? I don’t see them doing a bigger motor, but a 396, 426, 427, 454  would be cool. A 223 would give away a bit to a 250, a 243 would work good but both would be rifle references so probably not good for marketing. 199? Plain old 250?

If I was Kawasaki I would do a 125 with an easy 150 kit. That would cover a lot of classes both in woods and mx.

im so confused with Kawasaki's direction.
in 2021 they said they where going to be electric and hybrid motors only by 2035. yet its 2026, and we get a 2 stroke?
Seems like a wild pivot.

But i support it haha
