Dad had this helmet and it absolutely blew my mind back then. Couldn’t believe you could buy such a cool helmet from the shop
MC always had the coolest helmets. Troy Lee killed every single one of them!!
Pastranas first M2R helmet was sick

David Baileys ONE industries replica helmet was rad
How about this classic one !

Still have that one ... did a few can-can'ts in it 🙃
Can't beat that Lackey 1982 one. My favorite
Tim Hart
My vote is definitely for the Lackey flame helmet, or anything Rossi.
Obviously a remake of an iconic helmet, but I had this one industries Bailey Tribute.. my favourite ever helmet!
Don’t know if it’s THE most iconic but it was iconic to me. Bought it new back in the day
and it’s long been retired after a few hard hits.
Pretty cool helmet wrap for team USA at ISDE event.
I remember when this helmet came out. Wanted one so bad. The m2r helmets were always awesome
Any questions?|

Jesus..... The thread title says "Iconic". Little prick can't even spell "danger" correctly.
Pit Row
I’m not certain but I think he may have abbreviated “danger” intentionally… for branding and aesthetics if I had to guess.
Here’s an interesting one, it’s David Bailey in a JT helmet with a Bell decal on the mouthpiece:
The original ALS helmets were produced by Bell.
So it was a Bell helmet and JT started putting their label on it?
All great posts. One that hasn’t been posted but always thought was cool was David knights dukes of hazzard theme helmet
This is the first helmet I thought of when I saw this thread the other day, but I thought it was Larry Brooks not MC, so I couldn't find it when I searched.
I understood Bell made them to begin with before John figured out his own production process .
They were originally manufactured in the Bell plant, so basically made by Bell for JT.
Still got mine
This was a very nice one just not a great angle. Be about. ‘90 . Healey on KTM’s in 250 GP’s - he bought a “ Guns n Roses west coast cool guy” vibe to the GP scene and we all lapped it up and loved it.
