But, perception is everything and whether or not Anderson, Tomac, Prado & Sexton are all "head cases" that couldn't be pleased...if Sexton bails, the perception might be that it's the more bike rather than the rider. That might hurt Kawasaki and its ability to draw a true top tier rider to replace him, whereas Sexton can & will find a solid ride again.

It appears not racing the complete series is hurting their shot at a big name in both classes. Allegedly swoll doesn’t want to sign for just sx also.

probably a joint deal, Rick ware gets him for WSX and is paying a big amount, while club provides a bikes for SMX and a minimal salary
Matthes was saying Swoll, Thrasher, and Cochran possibly to PHX Honda and PC might have some interest in Cochran as well. Temmerman may be going to the MX6 Kawi team to hold him over and keep him on green as well.

I don't think they are giving much in the way of salary to 250 riders. But it's a fairly competitive bikes if Lil Keefer can run it around 12th for 20 minutes outdoors and Evan Ferry can top 10 indoors on it, Swoll and Thrasher can hang around the top 5 with it I bet. Big step up though for them in talent if they pull it off.
Yaa, they also have their gncc team and a quad team I believe. I wonder if their bikes will be up to par if they get these guys, those 3 will be a step above in the speed department than the 250 riders they’ve had for the last couple of years. I know it was said that they were going to be the “official” Honda 250 team a few years ago, maybe having these guys will help solidify that. Honda needs a stronger presence in the 250 class besides Jo and Chance.
If temmernan can't get on a PC bike, I have to wonder what the point of having an amateur program is to begin with? Why not just take all that money and poach guys when they're ready to turn pro?

Now... cringe lord may not stay at yamaha much longer (might find the bike an issue not winning, might go mj/cr22, him and daddy cringe might start own team).. if that's the case I can see Davies staying yamaha... but then Davies is stuck on the big blue pig, not the bike to be on now days in the big bore class...

I think with too many riders available for the spots on teams, some of the teams are going to get some good riders on a low end salary.

How many riders in the 250 class need to be paid? Honest question. Years past if you were not top five, you got support pretty much and that was it.
Kind of the opposite problem. More capable guys than rides, so average 250 salaries are going up right now.

Exactly, basic supply and demand would state that the riders have way less leverage than teams right now.
