Lucas raced with broken arms/wrists last year starting the season, Sacha will race most likely this weekend in foxhill if it’s only a plate to add.

Musquin I'm pretty sure lined up for a race immediately after collarbone surgery.

It's doable.  I'm sure not ideal or fun. If I remember right Musquin got a 3rd or something in sx a few days after surgery!

And I think RC won a race a week after breaking one.  But that was RC.  Lol

Plate that collarbone and he’ll be back in action. The incision will be the only painful part.

Lucas, hopefully doesn't have to sit out with a concussion protocol, as he was a bit disoriented when stand8ng up.

Sascha on the other hand - since I know he's last years mechanic is going to race foxhills - he can do top 10 without a hand, but it all depends how it is broken, if it is a clean brake, then for sure he is going to plate that sucker up and ride, or if they can plant a nail it, also could ride. Worse case scenario would be if it is just a crack or something you can not fix surgically and then there is time. And collarbone on a 19 year old, could be 6 weeks he can ride without pain.

But yeah, those Twins showed everyone that "We Also race in europe"  - and there are couple of brothers also c9m8ng up the ranks, Latvia is especially strong as shows the Reisulis brothers are already at eelite levels, then are those two young twins Cirulis - Patriks and Martins, they also work with the same trainers as are Reisulises so they will make a mark. And they also have some brothers racing 65cc toghether - had the names when started this reply but now i can not remember it!

Nah he’ll be right. Lotte VanDrunen said she was ko’d and nothing was done

It was an international concussion for Lucas so it doesn’t count. (I’m kidding)

Riding with a freshly plated collarbone has been done before, but those hills will add extra stress.
Will be interesting to see if Sacha makes it through Friday practice.

He was able to bear weight through that right side to push himself up off the ground, and lift the bike back up. Hard to speculate what it could be, but either way it was a hell of a performance.

Its being said in the Great Britain thread that Sasha had surgery yesterday and has to get checked out by the doctor at the race on Friday before he gets clearance to ride and Lucas is fine.

Pretty sure RV and Stroupe both broke their collarbone a week before their SX debuts and that didn’t stop Mitch from putting them on the west coast still.

With todays technology and microsurgery can this be done so the incision is small?

The incision size will be determined on the size of the plate that was used

Bowers broke his collarbone practicing on a Tuesday.   He had it plated on Thursday and raced AX 2 days later.  He won the title that year.

I mean ax & ax are like 20 min of riding. Mxgp is a ton of riding over 2 days. Going to be a lot tougher than a 15 min east coast lites main event

I've been Foxhills, those downhills are no joke. You stand at the top and look down and you can't see the slope. Film doesn't do them justice.  Plus there's some newly built drop offs that are steep. I'll be surprised if he makes it through the weekend, i can't think of anything worse for his shoulder the load they'll be under going down them when he g's out in the compressions. Hope he makes it through okay
