Jett went 4 seconds a lap faster than deegan the lap he passed him. Jett has always rode just fast enough to win by a couple seconds and we saw him do that moto 2 after hunter went down.
When hunter and jett were both up the reason they put 20 seconds on deegs first moto is theyre both pushing eachother. They were on their way to putting 20 on him again when hunter hit neutral and fell. Once hunter went down jett backed it down and just kept the lead 4-6 seconds over deegs until the checkers.
if Deegs doesnt win a moto this outdoors, I cant wait to hear the predictions for SX 🤪

The comment I replied to was in the nature of they couldn't give him props because of his mouth and outside of the shirt, I haven't seen anything at all to lose sleep over which is why i asked if there was something super salty I missed.

I dont disagree but I think its the stage Deegan is at. Deegan had made a "push" to get on hunter and got real close but it was obvious that push was a pace he couldnt maintain and he started making mistakes. Those mistakes compounded with Jetts push and what was a 1.5 second gap turns to 4 then 6 etc.
That is why I found the best lap times interesting this round. It was a gnarly track and Deegan had a better best lap than hunter both motos it is just that hunter is far more consistent as is Jett.
So if you were a coach of Deegan, there is a lot to work on for sure but there is a lot of good takeaways week to week to build on.
That is the only point I am making.

SX is going to be a LOT harder thats for sure. He didnt look bad at all in overseas race he did. Kenny smoked him then Kenny went on to win his much earned SX title. IMO there would be no shame in a number of top 5's and possibly a podium or 2 in SX. So many more bad dudes that focus on SX than MX.
I still think he can get a Moto win this year but based on the results this far, it would have to be a situation where he got a hole shot and the Lawrences had some issues.

It was absolutely wild how he hung back behind the 38, and then pulled the trigger on that pass and checked out. He was just sizing him up the whole time.
Actually I see less 'real' media covering them both vs social media, there is constant social media posts (more so from Deegan fan sites than Jett) about them both, and yes it's mostly to get reaction/clicks about false information
I don’t dislike anyone in moto, except for Vince Freese. Nothing personal against him either I’m sure he’s a cool dude but he’s a danger to the sport and should be banned or retire. My dad was a big Jett/Hunter fan and he passed away so I always keep that in mind. Btw Deegan has consistently said the Lawrences are faster rn and commented how well they have rode. On the other hand the Lawrences won’t mention Deegan’s name. Deegan is grinding rn and being humble (I still wish he didn’t wear that shirt rd 1 xD) but I know he will have something to say when he gets that first win haha. I’ve loved every minute of this season so far. Hoping Hunter can edge out Jett for a title though he deserves at least one 450 title.
