There’s a couple of articles above on some testing. J mo swears by them. As do several others that I know. I haven’t personally ran them but also been contemplating.
I run them on dirt bikes, street bikes, and mtb. They work awesome. I'd have to give up riding without them after my wrist surgery, and they take all the hard edge off the trail trash. I never had arm pump prior to using them, but can't hurt.
Highly recommend them....
Which elastomer bushings do you prefer on the dirtbike? Do you feel them flexing, is there any downsides to the bars aside from price?
I run the red elastomers that they come with.i can't feel them flexing, but I've jumped on my brother's bike without them, and it felt super rigid through the grips. The only downside is weight, which has never been an issue for me.

I used to use them, now I run twisted engineering carbon fiber bars, they flex in all directions. Lighter, more comfortable.

I use a mako360 with the twisted engineering carbon fiber bars and a scotts damper, great set up.
If you are a faster rider it’s gonna be noticeable on the bike. If you just like to cruise around you will love it.
I used them for a few months but went back to regular bars. Just didn't like them overall. As the other post said, if you just cruise around, they are probably good.

I have been using them for years. Best bar on the market. Every bike in my shop (4) has them. Tough as nails, highly adjustable and rebuildable.
Not to mention that the owner Cole Townsend is core moto and the nicest guy around.
Steering damper compatible?
For what it’s worth the GUTS wing seat is single handedly the best product I’ve found to combat arm pump. First thing that goes on all my bikes. Yeah they don’t look the prettiest, but they function incredible

Yes, I agree. You get what you're paying for and I believe the Flex Bars are the best for what they are designed to do.
First time I tried them, I couldn't believe it!. It was like I instantly had a $500 re-valve job on my forks! They were very plush and eliminated any arm pump. The different elastomers make a big difference and I run the red ones.
And yes, Cole is a very nice guy who is very hardcore moto. 👍
Love my Steg Pegz. Have them mounted flush to the number plates like Star was running for a bit.

I'm going to order the Nexus clamps for my KX 250. Thanks for pointing those out.
I have used them on previous bikes, they are nice, but not a must have. I put different grip tapes and such around the mid section of my bike anyways, for decades now. Acerbis makes nice grippy frame guards, which work well. Unfortunately after 45 or so years of riding the wrists, shoulders, and elbows must have dampers, flex bars, and isolated bar mounts to ride the amount I still want to. Those are must haves.
I'm going to try the Luxon Nexus clamps. But my buddy had flex bars on his RMZ 450 and really liked them.
The flexx bars are nice, but seriously look into twisted engineering carbon fiber bars, they have been better for me.

Fasstco is a great company, great customer service, and great people…that said, I ran flex bars for years, and I honestly don’t see the hype…I honestly didn’t think the difference justified the price…I’ve gone back and forth between flex bars and standard bars on the same day and it wasnt that big of a deal…Still felt bumps, still felt vibration, still felt chop…I honestly don’t get the folks who say they put them, on every bike and credit them with saving their wrists etc etc (it’s confirmation bias in my opinion)….its a piece of plastic, it’s not several more inches of suspension travel…that piece of plastic absorbs a tiny fraction of energy rather than transfer it to your hands…not worth double/triple the price in my opinion.
Can't speak for anyone else, but I can promise you it's not confirmation bias for me. More like intolerable wrist pain in my left wrist, numbness in my hands, and overall discomfort w/o them. Trust me - I've switched back and forth and tried to break up with Flexx bars, but I always end up crawling back....lol.

The Flexx bars are also awesome.
Used in combination with a stabilizer, the right grips, isolating mounts, and suspension setup, flexxbars or now for me the twisted engineering bars are a game changer for my riding habits. Dare I say without those mods I couldn't ride, at least the way I wish to.
