I have to disagree, respectfully.

Here’s why.

Him & his brother want to race in the US next season. It’s been their dream.

They’re literally “auditioning” for next season & proving that they can race here & win. $$$…

Same here, I absolutely loathe his personality but I will not bash him for his effort and tenacity. He would have a lot more fans including myself if he’d just be a normal decent human.

What he said^^^

Late to the game but watching the 250 recap Have the hit Kitchen with penalties for cutting the track plus excessively accelerating along the outside of the track.

I have no clue about this but is it really benefitial to wear an ice west then the complete contrast of over 30 minutes pure heat? That must be extra hard on the body, that temperature switch no?

Very beneficial. You want your core body temp as low as possible at the start. Runners, cyclists, etc use them right until the race starts.

Holy hell, I hadn’t seen the shots of the water at Red Bud last week. Incredible. Track and grounds crew did a hell of a job.

They already have a deal with KTM for next year, part of that deal is that they get to decide if they want to stay in Europe or come to the US.

Its hard to say because he lost time to the lead the entire race. He also got close but never beat either lawrences fastest laps. Its probably true, he crashed and had to go through traffic, thats rough, but even when he got up to 4th he didnt put any time into the lead. Its obviously not the best way to judge, but we only have to go off what we have. If he was running through the pack with faster laps than the lead then theres no question he would have had a chance with a good start.

Why is she always creeping up on JT from behind when he's there between the motos? That's so weird haha

So to you a great ride is finishing wayyyy back in third while fading???? My definition of a "great" ride is winning by a country mile...

Yea it was a good ride he stayed with hunter for a while. Two things can be true though he had a good start to the race and then after putting in a hot lap trying to catch hunter dropped anchor and lost 10 seconds in 2 laps. Hes definitely the best of the rest right now though.

Agreed. Like others have said, he’s over riding the 450 and exerting a lot of energy. I think once he figures out how to properly ride the 450, we will see him closer to the  front and be able to hang the entire moto.

He’s definitely putting in the work and I can respect that.

I just wanna see more contenders at the front. He’ll figure it out.

Exactly. By the time he got to 4th he wasn't even familiar with the pace up front. He was putting in 20:1's on occasion, over a second slower than the front, he probably thought he was flying! And he was, just didn't know the leader's pace.

Deegan needs to learn how to float.  He is a digger, takes more energy.

Lucas and the Law Firm ride the bikes light.

Deegs is getting closer.

This.

And you don't risk becoming the youngest ever MXGP champion for a single moto in a different series after possibly hitting your head due to a bike malfunction. They got nothing to prove, they already did.

I keep hearing this, but how many people completely change their riding style once they get to 450? I cant think of anyone. By the time you get to 450 you basically are who you are. You can def add some tweaks and some improvements, but to completely change your entire riding style is something you just dont see happen.

His style is honestly working really well for him too… against everyone else. Its just the 2 boys out front have been working on their perfect technique since they were in diapers. It might just take him cleaning up his style a bit to close the gap, but theres no way hes going to completely change his style at this point.

He can definitely be lighter on the bike and gain some better throttle control. But you're pretty much right, he's always going to have that bulldog style.

Fitness isn’t his problem. He doesn’t know much about the bike and overcame this on the 250 by riding the hell out of it. You have to make the 450 work for you not against you. He’s going to have to learn the bike and communicate to his team how to make it work better for him.
