I feel horrible for chance, that suucks. Theres definitely an art to falling and not getting hurt, some guys are good at it some not. If you look at deebag hes had all kinds of big get offs and never got hurt but hymas and others get hurt from everything. Hopefully that wasnt as bad as it looks.

These teams pay a lot of money to have these riders on the track, someone out there playing moto demolition derby is utter bullshit. It seriously turned out the best way it could have with Deegan hurt from his own idiotic riding but if it had caused a serious injury (he did receive a leg injury) to Jo it would have been a HUGE shit show the like of which this sport has never seen. The black flag should have been thrown and the AMA and Deegan got off easy. Deegan should have paid a much higher penalty.

The right answer is of course he should've gotten the black flag. Im kinda worried that the current people at AMA has completely lost the track. It seems like they have a mission to make everything black and white so that they don't have to judge anything and can always point to a really barebones penalty table in the rule book during the aftermath. It's insane that they have one row that is called Aggressive/reckless riding and put everything from a misjudged blockpass to the most extreme dangerous shenanigans that we saw by Deegan. And just think about the scenario...

I agree with dv934. There were numerous times in full view, 3 I believe.The AMA’s call like always was weak, very weak. Back when I was with TwoTwo, sure Chad was my main focus. At 1 race, Canard was literally riding like a spaz. Chad got caught up in it as it was directly affecting him. I understand why people would say it’s a racing incident, but watch the sequence, Deegan cross jumps McAdoo more than once and 100% knows he’s there before deciding to do it again. Maybe he didn’t intentionally take McAdoo down, but it was intentional cross jumping, and there’s no way the other riders are cool with that sort of behaviour on the track.

That was a hell of a lot more intentional than it was unintentional.

It doesn’t matter if his intention was to take out McAdoo or not, that’s a textbook example of what a cross jump is. You can see his tire mark going up the face of the jump compared to the regular lines. He goes from the right side of the track and floats to the left side of the track over the jump. This crash is the exact reason why you can't/shouldn't ride like that in traffic.

mcadoo was very lucky not to tear his knee or break his leg there. Typical shit that happens around Deegan. I have to think eventually all his aggressive moves on other riders will come back around.

Absolutely an intentional cross jump. Did he know that McAdoo was going to be alongside him at that point? Probably not. Just trying to block his line. Intentional cross jump, no doubt. Intentional take out? I don’t think so.
